Morning love...

Every morning is a beautiful morning. ~Terri Guillemets

Morning...I've managed to climb out of bed. I'm still a little groggy. It seems as though a hot shower hasn't helped much. -I mean it did warm me up, and maybe even relax me a little. But of course I'm still groggy. I'm reminded that I need to quickly wake my mind, and get my body moving. -There's a little person (toddler) living in this home, and I'm sure she won't like if mom stays in bed all day. (Sometimes I wish I could). But for me, that's nearly impossible, and I'm always on the go.

So I'm up, I've opened curtains, made beds, and prepared a light breakfast. I've spent my time preparing breakfast, and going over the Alphabets and numbers with my little love. We sit..I'm finally feeling refreshed, and content. We enjoy our breakfast, and I'm amazed at how much my little one has learned. She's going onto three, and yes she's still my little one. She reminds me.."Mommy there's a baby in your tummy". We giggle together, then quickly..she goes in for a kiss on my tummy. (She's going to be an awesome big sister).

Shortly after I clean up our dishes, and get a few things done around our home. (I've started working on an order of wedding invitations, this should be fun). In the background, there's music playing and a tiny voice screaming. A pug running (trying to escape and hide away from our daughter). By now, I'm fully awake. We enjoy some time in the bathroom where I prepare my daughters bath. After bath, we read a few books. I enjoy this time so much. -Just us together enjoying our morning.

Mornings can be calm, hectic and maybe even overwhelming-sometimes everything combined. But when it's all said and done...I enjoy my mornings spent with the ones I love.

Hello my lovely readers, and welcome new readers! I'm so happy to have you come along on my blogging journey. And a BIG thank you to those of you who leave such kind, inspiring words here on my blog. I appreciate every single one of you!

Happy Friday.

Hooray, it's Friday! -And we're having a lovely day.
My energy is making a comeback, and I'm feeling wonderful.
Jolly Ranchers and Ginger Ale help out when my morning sickness hits.

This morning- our daughter enjoyed dancing around. Of course she asked if I'd dance with her. We boogied to one of her sing along Cd's.- I cherish moments like these.

I've been blending smoothies.//Simple ones with fruit. This one included raspberries, and milk.

Bath time- Our daughter enjoys her bath time story books.

Lunch time- I made grilled cheese, with ham. -Simple and delicious.

Sneaky mom spying through the kitchen window watching our pug soak up some sun.

Food coloring/water-She's creating art.

My husband was born in Massachusetts, he mentioned Fluffernutter to a co-worker sometime back. This co-worker contacted one of his friends in Boston, who eventually sent him a huge box of this yummy goodness.  My husband arrived home with a huge smile on his face. "Look honey, Fluffernutter straight out of Boston". -I love this man!

Today has been a good day! I hope you all have a Happy Friday and a lovely weekend spent with love ones. :)

Home is...

Home is where- Giggles are heard, coffee is brewing, and time is spent with family.
Home is where-toys are scattered, tickles are given, and hugs and kisses are necessary.
Home is where-memories are created, meals are prepared, and boo boos are kissed, by mommy and daddy.
Home is where-Silly faces are made, gardening is done, and learning is fun!
Home is where-we kick up our feet after a long day, and enjoy these simple, lovable moments.
Our home is filled with love, and yes it can sometimes get a little chaotic...but boy I do love my time at home with my family. Home is where, I feel most comfortable.

One winter day.-Walk with us.

One winter day...
This day the sun was out, and everything in sight was beautiful.
We adventured off into nature, (for about two hours). Breathing in the fresh air, and feeling the light breeze on our skin.
Streams were flowing, birds were chirping, and we felt so much joy.-Being together, enjoying the warm weather.-Everything was absolutely perfect.  -So if you'd like...come walk with us.

Thank you all for your kind words in my last post. I'm feeling much better, and this walk was something I needed. -Again, thank you.

Energy. Pregnancy. & Daydreaming.

An easy morning. Toast, and sweet orange marmalade

An artful morning.

Currently looking through-Shabby Chic

A sweet thoughtful surprise from my husband: Prescription for 52 reasons
why I treasure you.

Baking- Teddy bear cookies.

My energy level seems to be returning, slowly. Cravings have started, and I'm continuing to find it harder to brush my teeth without the occasional gagging. Breakfast is simple, -toast with jam, eggs, and maybe a side of bacon or ham. Our daughter; of course is a picky eater. Sometimes she's in the mood for oatmeal, maybe bacon the next, or just plain cereal.

Our pug likes to rest his head on my tummy. -Not yet a big baby bump, but it's become a pillow to rest his soft cuddly cheeks. He did this  when I was pregnant with our daughter. He'd fall asleep, and snore on my oh so lovely baby bump. -Of course there were occasional kicks to head from my daughter resting inside.

So far this pregnancy is much different from my first. My energy level went down suddenly, and I become nausea without any warning. I'm enjoying my sleep, but at times I still feel like I could use more! We're in need of sunny days-sunny with mild temps, and no snow! They are saying the weather here in Colorado should be sunny, in the mid 60's for the weekend. I'm looking forward to this.-Windows opened, fresh air, and maybe even a picnic outdoors. -How lovely!

My husband has started back up on reading his daddy books. We first bought this set of books for him during my pregnancy with our daughter. He's been enjoying reading through it, and sharing his thoughts on this pregnancy. -It all feels so brand new, and exciting all over again. My next visit to the Dr, is on the 27th of this month. I should have more information by then. (An ultrasound, and a little glimpse of this tiny bundle of joy growing inside of me. And maybe even listen to the heartbeat.)

So lately, I'm just hoping this tired feeling will go away soon, and I'm looking forward to sunny days. I'd love to sit out with my daughter; soak up some sun, and dip my toes in her little pool. -I'm just daydreaming, and I'm enjoying it!

Have a lovely weekend blog friends. And a special thank you to my friend Jayne who blogs over at handmadecuties, she's always so thoughtful, and kind. I recently received a family photo album from her. I thought it was the sweetest thing.-Perfect for adding in new pictures of our growing family. Thank you, Jayne.

Welcome new readers, I'm thrilled to have you follow along!
