All things.

All things..

Enjoying-warm, simple days.- More family walks and game nights.
Reading- I often find myself looking through pregnancy magazines. Finding new healthy recipes or eyeing cool baby gadgets.
Cooking-We've enjoyed a few new recipes. Just recently we purchased a jar of Jerk seasoning from World Market. -Grilled jerk chicken, it was delicious! Baked cinnamon roll donuts were also on the menu.
Craving-Blended fruit smoothies, mangoes, avocados and spicy foods.
Capturing- I've been exploring and capturing moments with our camera. A display of flags filled the streets on Memorial Day.-It was a beautiful sight. Each flag gently waving in the breeze. I've also taken quite a few pictures of my growing belly. -It's changing and it's beautiful.
Preparing- I've taken the time to gather a few baby supplies. Folding and setting items aside.
Feeling - Pretty darn good!  I've been exercising, drinking tons of water and eating fruit. I feel pretty good for entering my 24th week of pregnancy.
Wanting- More rainy days. -Windows open, fresh breezy air..ah it's lovely.
Expecting- The next few months to fly by.
Wearing- Maxi skirts and dresses. At this point in my pregnancy they are beyond comfortable.

Tea please..

“Drinking tea with a pinch of imagination!”
―Good reads

It's been raining for the past two days. I absolutely love it and I do wish I owned a pair of rain boots. I'd probably go out and jump in muddy puddles.-Peppa Pig seems to be quoted a lot in our home by our three year old. I can't help but to smile. This weekend we adventured out and did a bit of shopping. We took a short trip to one of my favorite stores, World Market. I always leave picking up more than expected.

While shopping, we came across a cute tea set for our daughter.
The set includes:

-1 teapot with lid
-4 cups
-4 plates
-1 creamer
-1 sugar bowl
-4 spoons
-4 towels
12 color paints
-1 paint brush
and instructions for baking your tea set.

We arrived home and gathered around the table. Outside it was raining, a window slightly opened. The air was fresh and we sat around watching our daughter paint her tea set. -We of course couldn't resist and joined in on some painting. It was a nice relaxing evening. The next morning we enjoyed our tea party. It was simple; we spoke about plans for the day and ate bite size rice cakes. I enjoy days like this.

Snapshots-Our week

Warm weather/creating art/homemade milkshakes/splashing in the pool/gardening/flower arrangements/outdoor play/coloring/Enjoying Harold and the purple crayon series/

It's been a lovely week.  I've been enjoying this time with our daughter before her little sister arrives. -We still have some time before I'm busy with nursing and changing diapers. I'm sure she knows just how much I love her and I want her to realize even when mommy is busy my love will never change for her.

With the warm weather we have been spending our time outdoors. Activities take place on the back porch and there's been a lot of water play in the pool.  Our back porch seems to be the place for coloring and outdoor play for our daughter. -And possible naps for mom. :)

I've been happy and enjoying life. Next week I'll be 24 weeks along in this pregnancy. We scheduled for two hospital tours, so there's some progress being made.

This week- we snipped a few flowers from the garden and made simple flower arrangements.  I figured our dining table could use some fresh flowers.

What have you all been up to? How's the weather where you live?

Hello and welcome new readers. And for those who have been on this journey with me for some time now, I appreciate all of you.

Fresh air.

“The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy—it's all that matters.”
― Audrey Hepburn

We're all together and enjoying the fresh air. A packed lunch and some play time at the park. Squirrels come by for a visit. In the background our daughter is giggling and running around.  There's a light breeze and the sun is out.-It's beautiful. We're all together just enjoying a beautiful Spring day. Something about this moment makes me realize just how thankful I am for a new day spent with my family.

Lately..{Living in the now}

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”

― Albert Einstein

Lately...things seem to have fallen into place. Everyone is smiling, preparing for baby, and enjoying our time living in the now. Life is truly beautiful and we're all thankful.

Lately, things have been peaceful. I'm happy, breathing-thank goodness and just loving motherhood. The weather has shifted again. Sunny days are ahead of us.- Out on the back porch enjoying the chirps of the little birdies, sprinklers on and the smell of freshly cut grass.-I'm daydreaming about mid-summer.

Lately, our daughter has enjoyed her time being hands on. She enjoys splashing in the sink and helping me with dishes. -Even if it's pretend play, she's definitely my little helper. She reminds me "Mommy are drinking your water"? -"Of course I am baby, I do appreciate you looking out for your sister and I".

I absolutely love motherhood.  Each day there's a new adventure. -It's so amazing watching her grow. I mean seriously I created these two? I'm beyond amazed and we are excited for the day we meet our little one growing oh so quietly in my tummy.

My husband has been wonderful through this pregnancy. Of course with our first pregnancy he also was wonderful. -He's looking forward to our girls fighting over who will dance with him during the daddy/daughter dances. -I'm looking forward to seeing him tuck two sweet gentle girls in bed at night.

My husband recently bought me a new collection piece from Willow Tree to add to our previous set. A little girl, she of course is much older.-It represents our daughter now. She's growing and yes I'm sad to see this happen, but its life and I'm amazed at how she's changing and developing into her own person. Our previous set will now represent our soon to be little one.

We're all enjoying the now. Taking it all in and appreciating each passing day. I hope the same goes for all of you. -Enjoy living in the now!

I hope you  all have a beautiful weekend spent with love ones. :)
