Good days.

We had a wonderful week.  Yesterday we attended the Magic Bunny show at our local library.  This show included comedy, magic tricks, and cute little bunnies.- And a few birds.  Children gathered around and giggled and participated in this cute little performance.  We enjoyed our time. Today, instead of focusing so much on lessons we made sure to have a little fun.  We worked on a fun science experiment on clouds and rain.  Writing down our observations and just enjoying our time at home.  I like days when we set our lessons aside for the week and enjoy a little free time.  So today, we are enjoying some play dress up, baking pretend cakes, and dancing parties.  - Happy Friday to all!

I'm thrilled to have this beautiful weather around!  We welcomed spring with clear skies and weather in the upper 60s. I was able to open all windows and let in some fresh air. - Ah, refreshing.  Currently- - Finishing up this week's lessons with my oldest daughter. Reading, math, shapes, and the letter G. The beautiful outdoors.

“Is the spring coming?" he said. "What is it like?"... "It is the sun shining on the rain and the rain falling on the sunshine...”  ―  Frances Hodgson Burnett ,  The Secret Garden This week- the weather was beautiful. The sun was out and it was definitely time to plan a trip outdoors. Just us, together. The air was fresh and my thoughts were clear.- It was beautiful. We took a long nature walk and explored. We talked about woodpeckers, frogs, ducks and much more. Now that the weather is nicer out, the park is filled with kids running, playing and jumping.- Clearly they're  filled with excitement. I think I needed this long nature walk.  Just us, fresh air and time to clear my thoughts. I feel rejuvenated and ready to embrace this warmer weather.

There will be days..

There are times when you feel like nothing is going right and you're just not yourself. But even in those moments, you manage to put on a smile and keep moving forward. You might feel exhausted, unwell, perplexed, or powerless, but you persevere. Unfortunately, we recently received the devastating news that our wonderful friend passed away at the young age of 31. It was a tragic event and I cannot express the emotions that I felt upon hearing the news. We shared wonderful memories together and the last time we spoke was shortly after the birth of our second daughter in September 2015. Despite the grief, I try to focus on the wonderful moments we share. She was a kind-hearted person, an amazing mother to three wonderful boys, and always ready to lend a helping hand. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to know such a wonderful person. There will be times when life seems to make no sense, but eventually, acceptance of its unpredictability sets in. I am extremely grateful for
