Here we are.

Here we are. Shortly after Christmas, I reorganized a few things in our home. I'm actually still finding bits of wrapping paper around the house. The aroma of coffee fills the air each morning.- I enjoy this time. Honestly, it has been so peaceful.  I haven't had much time to stress.- And I am so thankful for this. Our Christmas was peaceful. Just the four of us.  It snowed a little on Christmas. -Just enough to admire for an hour or so. This year has treated us well.  I'm looking forward to new adventures.  What are you looking forward to this upcoming year? I'm so happy you all have decided to join my blogging journey. I appreciate all of you. THANK YOU!  I hope this upcoming year brings you all joy, love, good health, and so many opportunities to smile.  Remember: -Give it all you got -Be thankful -Smile often Give lots of hugs and tell those who matter just how much you love them Lighten up.  Don'

The blogger behind the blog.- A little about me.

Get to know me! With the help of one of my awesome friends, I've answered a few questions on blogging and life. Enjoy~ Q- Do you enjoy blogging? And why? A-I truly enjoy sharing my journey with all of you.- My thoughts, photos, current happenings, and much more. It really brings peace within. I honestly don't blog for followers. (If you are a regular reader of my blog, you might have noticed that I've taken down my followers). I actually did that some time back. There are a lot of bloggers out there that compare followers and comments, etc. I'm definitely not one. (So please don't leave me a link saying if you follow my blog, I'll follow you back). Honestly, we should all read blogs because we enjoy them. Not because you want a follow back. All I want is for you to come along on my blogging journey and enjoy it! -Whether you follow me, or you're just a visitor. Q-Tell us a little about the blogger... A-I'm a simple person, who tends to love

Materials needed: *Paint sample cards (You can pick these up at any Home improvement store that sells paint). *Pencil, or Q-tip.- I use this when creating dots with paint. I used gold, pink, and black ink for stamping my stamps.  You can use any color.  Once you

December.

Ah, so here we are. It's been a bit chilly. Our Christmas decor is up and it didn't take very long. I've been feeling a bit festive and cheerful lately. This year, we started a new tradition. Each night leading up to Christmas, we'll unwrap a book to read together by the tree. - All books are either Christmas or winter themes. - It's amazing what you can find on the web. I came across this idea some time back and figured we would give it a try. More time reading to our girls is definitely a plus!  We're still attending events and have our normal routine going. We recently attended an event called, Cookies and Carols. It took place at one of the libraries here in town. We decorated cookies, sipped on hot cider, and then went around caroling. - It was so much fun! This month is packed with fun, festive events. We'll be attending a candlelit hike at one of our local nature centers. Our oldest is extremely excited abou
