Peaceful moment.

This peaceful moment... I just finished watering my garden.  I picked a few of these beautiful flowers and placed them in a mason jar filled with water. They are currently sitting on my kitchen counter near the sink.  I like to admire them while I'm washing dishes. :) What has been your peaceful moment this week? ****** Each Thursday I will be posting a peaceful moment.  I would love to know what your peaceful moment has been during the week or a peaceful memory from the past. :)

Peaceful moment.

This peaceful moment... took place in April 2015. My oldest daughter and I took a few flowers from the garden and created  nature suncatchers. This was such a fun project. If you would love to make your own follow this link  Spring-catchers Enjoy! Each Thursday I will be posting a peaceful moment.  I would love to know what your peaceful moment has been during the week or a peaceful memory from the past. :)

Let Go. -Crumble it up and toss it out!

Let go of   Negative thoughts  In the morning right after you wake tell yourself these 3 things: 1. I am thankful. 2. I am able 3. I will do my absolute best! Let go of   P eople bringing you down There is absolutely no reason to have these people in your life. Are you trying to do better? If the answer is yes, let them go! Let go of  Always saying YES  I always thought I needed to please every single person who entered my life and so I was constantly saying yes. - I managed to stop this and it feels great. Saying no is okay to do and if the person truly understands where you are coming from it shouldn't bother them one bit. Let go of   The past This is something I struggle with. - I'm doing much better now, but truthfully I find myself slipping at times. (We all do and that is what makes us human). But honestly, we must learn to let go of past hurts. Once we learn to let go we can live a much happier life. Let go of   G ossip Just say no to

Peaceful moment. (A day late)

This peaceful moment... There was a slight breeze in the air.  And the sky was beautiful... I sat on my front porch admiring our blooming flowers. Each Thursday I'll be posting a peaceful moment that took place.  This peaceful moment is coming to you all a day late. This week has been a busy one! What was your peaceful moment for the week?

Making shakers. - A fun DIY for little ones.

I think I've mentioned before how much we love to dance. My littlest one will be two this year and her big sister turned five in April. - They absolutely love to boogie! We normally play music and just enjoy the moment. My two-year-old loves to shake and rattle things.  We're always coming up with new ways to create shakers. This time around, we used empty spice containers. (Plastic ones). So if you have some empty ones around your home create some shakers for your little ones. It is super easy and fun for all. What you will need: Empty spice containers beans beads And anything fun you want to add to your shaker Markers (permanent) work best  All you need to do: Take each container and decorate it. - Get creative and have fun with it. Next just take your beans, beads, and whatever else you chose to put into your containers and add them in. Make sure to leave some room. - So don't fill it all the way up. Once you're all done you

Peaceful moment.

This peaceful moment... It was a quiet Sunday. I took a tulip from my garden earlier in the week. This pink tulip sat on our kitchen windowsill... I believe it was an overcast day. It was nice to have just a little pop of color.                                               What was your peaceful moment for this week? ***** Each Thursday, I'll be posting a photo taken during a peaceful moment.
