Turn Old Cardboard into Fun Halloween Bookmarks

Happy October! Today, we're making easy Halloween bookmarks using cardboard for this DIY craft. This is an upcycled craft and it's super easy. This craft is perfect if you have some cardboard and haven't thrown it out or recycled it. It's also a great hands-on craft for little ones, just make sure to help cut and glue any materials needed. If you're ready, let's start creating some Halloween bookmarks. Fun Halloween Bookmarks  Quick Video tutorial Materials: - Cardboard - Paper trimmer or scissors - Halloween decorative napkins - Optional: gem strip with sticky backing and letters - Gems - Mod Podge - Craft string - Beads - Acrylic paint - Hole puncher Start by taking the cardboard and using either a paper trimmer or scissors to cut two sections of the cardboard, each between 1 to 2 inches wide. Our Visit to the Gingersnap Rescue Ranch

Hi everyone! I can't believe how quickly September went by! The year is moving by so quickly. Today I am sharing our visit to a local animal rescue. We had to postpone this trip until now because we had a few other events during our youngest daughter's birthday. Afterward, she came down with a cold, and we had to take things easy as she recovered. Our trip to Gingersnap Rescue Ranch was just as we pictured. Our youngest daughter has a love for animals that I can't explain. She absolutely adores all animals; if she could save them all, she would. We decided to head out to the rescue and take a scenic route. During the drive, we saw sheep, a few fall colors, and a stretch of cacti on the side of the road. We paused to capture a heartwarming painting on a building: a mother cow tenderly kissing her calf. How sweet!
