Happy Friday

Yippy it's Friday! :) It's been a lovely day with my little sweetheart. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.     Dress up time!     Fun with Chalk       Book of the day (Meg's Pet-Tag Junior-short vowels E)

"Mommy read to me"

Last night was a cold, snowy night here in Colorado. Our daughter is in love with books. When she was still in my tummy my husband and I would read to her all the time. She is going on to two in April, and she is always on the go searching for a new book. (I love it). Last night we ended the night reading a few books. I absolutely cherish these moments. What book does your little one enjoy reading?

Coffee, journaling and of course a craft! :)

“The most precious gift we can offer others is our presence. When mindfulness embraces those  we love, they will bloom like flowers.” -Thich Nhat Hanh It's been such a lovely morning with my little love. This morning I was able to have a nice cup of coffee and sit and write in my daughters journal.  When we arrived home from the hospital with our daughter, I thought it would be nice to start a journal for her. In this journal I write about how much she amazes us, and how she is constantly growing and changing each day. I hope that when she's older she can look back and see how much she has changed our lives for the better. In this journal I remind her that she is loved, beautiful, creative, and one of a kind. This morning I thought it would be nice to do a craft with my daughter. We decided since I was making muffins for breakfast to use the left over baking cups to create flowers. So what you would need if you are thinking of making this is: (a few baking cu

Stop and listen...

A song came on I hadn't heard in a while, and so I stopped and listened to the lyrics. It's amazing how a song can speak to your heart, or how someone can relate to a song due to something currently going on in their life.    Rob Thomas "Little Wonders" Let it go, Let it roll right off your shoulder Don't you know The hardest part is over Let it in, Let your clarity define you In the end We will only just remember how it feels Our lives are made In these small hours These little wonders, These twists & turns of fate Time falls away, But these small hours, These small hours still remain

I loved it!- Baby food making :)

I absolutely enjoyed making our daughters baby food when she was just a tiny little baby. We made everything from pureed apples, squash, asparagus, peas, asian pear, carrots and much more! We used the baby brezza, and we loved it. (It steams, purees, and blends all in one, with one press of a button). I'm sure I will do this for our next baby, it was something I really enjoyed.

As seasons change...

“Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.”-Ashley Smith Fresh air, nature walks, park play dates...I can't wait for spring to get here! We have been having some warm weather here in Colorado, and I must say it seems as though everyone is enjoying it. I’m looking forward to nature walks with our daughter, and of course gardening. I’ve been asked which season I enjoy the most. I think I would have to say autumn. I love watching leaves fall from the trees, and the beautiful colors they turn. Everyone seems to pull out their scarves, and knitted sweaters. And we love sitting in coffee shops. So what's your favorite season? Even though autumn is one of my favorite seasons, I can't wait for spring to get here. Beautiful flowers, humming birds usually gather around my flowerbed, and I enjoy openi
