Crazylittlelovebirds

This week was long.  We all caught an icky cold.  We're still battling this cold virus. We had cranky days. We had good days. Long nights. Runny noses. Early mornings. And lots of hugs and kisses for our little ones. I've gotten to snuggle more. ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡ Oatmeal with strawberries, bananas, chocolate, and almonds. And a sprinkle of my oat cereal. It was pure bliss.  A simple breakfast for me. My banana nut cereal with a few slices of bananas.  This was my mommy moment. Morning, the sunlight was shining in and I sipped on my tea. Even if it was just for a few minutes, it felt wonderful.  Using my essential oil diffuser at night.  I love this bathroom cleaner spray.  It smells so nice and I use it when I'm not using Lysol wipes. The littlest one is building with blocks. She said she was making a castle.  While we prepare dinner, our little one is lining things up on the kitchen floor. ...

Maybe soon... things will start slowing down. This week: -We continued our lessons. Reading lessons are slowing down. - Right now our oldest daughter is sick. Just a common cold. But she is definitely in need of rest. -Warm baths, vapor rub, and warm drinks. - This seems to be helping out some. I've washed and sanitized things around our house.  - So far little one, daddy and I are cold-free. I'm sure it will sneak up on me when I least expect it. We're still working on lessons and this week she's learning about ladybugs. Once she is feeling better, we'll head out and go on an outdoor adventure.  Our littlest one has been fussy. - Maybe she's teething?! I haven't seen or felt any teeth that may be coming in. She...

We had a wonderful week.  Yesterday we attended the Magic Bunny show at our local library.  This show included comedy, magic tricks, and cute little bunnies.- And a few birds.  Children gathered around and giggled and participated in this cute little performance.  We enjoyed our time. Today, instead of focusing so much on lessons we made sure to have a little fun.  We worked on a fun science experiment on clouds and rain.  Writing down our observations and just enjoying our time at home.  I like days when we set our lessons aside for the week and enjoy a little free time.  So today, we are enjoying some play dress up, baking pretend cakes, and dancing parties.  - Happy Friday to all!

Friday is here. - I'm thrilled. I'm not sure if it's the fact that I may sleep in on Saturday or just the fact that I absolutely love when Friday comes around. :) We made it through the week. This week treated us well. Today I woke up feeling refreshed. - I baked some pumpkin doughnuts and sat for a few enjoying a quiet and peaceful morning. This week- was a busy one. It snowed for two days and the temps dropped pretty low. We stayed inside. Keeping warm and enjoying some apple cider. I enjoy making it in the crock pot and letting it simmer throughout the day. - The house smells amazing! I've taken out all of our winter blankets and prepared the beds.  Our oldest enjoyed a few crafts on the snow days. -We added food coloring to some snow and worked on a few coloring sheets. -I'm pretty sure she enjoyed herself. This week: -We had a special play date. Playtime and a Halloween craft are included. My oldest was thrilled to have her friend over. They played, worked on a craft, and ate some delicious blueberry muffins made by my friend. -Worked on decorating our pumpkins. This year instead of carving pumpkins we decorated one and dressed up the other.  It was such a fun time. -Headed to the library. We checked out some books and attended storytime. My oldest danced and played with a few other kids. I take this time and chit-chat with a few other moms. -Ah, it's nice. -We made pumpkin cookies. -Of course, we did, it's fall time! ;)  -I purchased a few more cloth inserts for my cloth diapers. -So far I am absolutely loving this whole cloth diaper experience. - I'll have to post more about it soon!  -Found a mom and baby yoga video on youtube.-  Mum &Baby Yoga .
