October things.

October has arrived, and with it comes a noticeable drop in temperature. My husband has just completed the construction of a firepit in our backyard, and we've had the pleasure of using it a few times already. As the nights grow colder, I've resorted to switching on the heat in the morning. It's worth noting that the leaves have transformed into wonderful shades of red, yellow, and orange, which are truly wonderful to behold. I'm always in awe of the beauty of change. Lately, my schedule has been quite packed with my daughters' school activities and creating new crafts. My husband was fortunate enough to receive two job offers, but we ultimately decided to decline both of them due to the quick relocation they required. In the future, we plan to be more strategic with our decision-making. Here and there.

Halloween was simple.- We had a twirling Cinderella and a tiny bumblebee buzzing through our home. Our oldest had a friend over for games and a few crafts.  We filled our cups with cider.- This is something we do every year.  Later, we headed out. We visited a few homes and filled their bags with sweet goodies. I'm still enjoying this fall weather. - The snow never did make it.  I'm happy. I'm not quite ready for snowy weather. For now, I'm enjoying the cooler weather.  We were able to try out this year's Halloween drink from Starbucks.-  Frappula Frappuccin o .  It was delicious. Little pumpkins remain on our windowsill. I'll move them soon and rearrange them on our dining table.  I've taken a few requests for Thanksgiving and so I've been making a list of new foods to prepare.  Things have been simple.- I like it this way. We're still taking our weekly trips to our local library. I recently checked out ...

Our week.

This week: -We had a special play date. Playtime and a Halloween craft are included. My oldest was thrilled to have her friend over. They played, worked on a craft, and ate some delicious blueberry muffins made by my friend. -Worked on decorating our pumpkins. This year instead of carving pumpkins we decorated one and dressed up the other.  It was such a fun time. -Headed to the library. We checked out some books and attended storytime. My oldest danced and played with a few other kids. I take this time and chit-chat with a few other moms. -Ah, it's nice. -We made pumpkin cookies. -Of course, we did, it's fall time! ;)  -I purchased a few more cloth inserts for my cloth diapers. -So far I am absolutely loving this whole cloth diaper experience. - I'll have to post more about it soon!  -Found a mom and baby yoga video on youtube.-  Mum &Baby Yoga . Very cute video. My little one seemed to enjoy the gentl...
