Crazy Little Lovebirds was born out of a deep appreciation for the simple, beautiful things in life. I started this blog years ago when my husband was active military; during his frequent deployments, this space became my creative outlet and a wonderful way to keep my mind occupied.

Today, it has grown into a community where I share everything from budget-friendly DIY projects and family-favorite recipes to those everyday "lately" moments that make my heart happy. No matter what brings you here, my goal is always to leave you feeling inspired and encouraged!

Colorful Summer Flower: Recycled Paper Towel DIY

Looking to bring a little sunshine into your space without visiting the craft store? This whimsical summer flower decoration makes great use of what you already have—think beads, pom poms, a humble paper towel tube, and a splash of acrylic paint. Bonus: it’s the perfect way to reuse an old frame and welcome summer in style! What You’ll Need: 1 paper towel tube (emptied, of course!) Acrylic paint (I chose a deeper pink) Craft pom poms (yellow makes a great center!) Assorted beads (medium for the stem, smaller for embellishing the petals) Foam letters (for your summer message) A reused frame (square or any shape of your choice) Scissors Hot glue gun Creating your summer flower decoration Cut the Tube and Shape the Petals : Start by cutting the paper towel tube into four evenly-sized sections. Looking to add some greenery to your space? Hello everyone! Today, we’re going to create a quick and simple succulent display using a round baking pan from Dollar Tree. I completed this craft a while ago, but forgot to share it with you. It's an easy project, and all the materials—except for the spray paint—were purchased at Dollar Tree. You can make this lovely decoration in just 10 minutes. Let’s get started on this succulent decoration together! Materials -One baking pan -Spray paint -Stones/rocks -Crushed glass -Artificial succulents -One glass candle holder Start by applying spray paint to the baking pan.
