Exploring art-textures, clay, crayons, paint and more

Exploring art activity 1{ What do you see? } My daughter absolutely loves this. For this activity, all you need is a mirror, and washable window markers/crayons. My daughter enjoyed creating her beautiful self-portrait. Exploring art activity 2-{ molding, painting and stamping clay } This week we started working on clay ornaments.  We molded, stamped, and painted.  We explored textures and colors.

Exploring and creating art. Using items around the house

Exploring/creating art-using items around the house. This was so much fun, and very hands-on. My daughter really enjoyed the different textures and shapes. Materials we used: -Plastic fork  -Paper towel roll  -Flowers  -Clothespins/with pom poms -Plastic bottle top -Straws -Craft stick  Explore and create art using different designs with each material.  During our art time, I went over how each item created a different design. Be creative and use your imagination! “Everything you can imagine is real.” ― Pablo Picasso Pin for later

Little hands texture tour :)

Hello all! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. This morning I took my daughter to the library. They were having Rhythm Fun, with The Percussion Lady, Helen Trencher. It was so much fun. We played with drums, bells, danced, and listened to a few stories. We had a great time. Our daughter loves going through the house and picking a few items out. We do a texture tour with her. This allows her to feel all the textures, and see the difference between each one. We love this and it's something we have been doing since she was about 3 months or so. She loves it. We explain the different textures, and you can even tell them the different colors, and shapes. All you need for this: -Little hands :) -objects with different textures Have a lovely Tuesday
