Here we are.

So here we are.- Busy days, sleepless nights, headaches, and a few other things in between. A new week and the little one is still teething. Our weekend was long. Truthfully I felt like a zombie and wanted nothing more than to sleep, sleep and sleep some more. Of course, that didn't happen! But hey it's life and I'm okay with that. Our little one ran a slight fever. She's teething and she's a bit fussy and seems to only want mama. So yes, I'm tired and achy and I may be getting a little fussy as well. -My coffee is currently decaf and doesn't do much for me. But a hot shower seems to help quite a bit. My eyes are slightly red and I've been experiencing headaches. I haven't been as hydrated as I should be. Today I've been making sure to drink more water and maintain my sanity. I was able to make it through lessons with my oldest. She sat after lessons were done and worked on a nice fall collage. Paper clippings and leaf punch-outs took ov...

Cloth diaper days

We're enjoying our cloth diaper journey. It's all new to us. But we're getting the hang of it. I'm still pretty busy with nursing our little one and our oldest demanding I stop feeding her sister to play with her more! :) But now we are on a better schedule where my time with them is equally shared. What we're using : Cloth inserts G diaper pants Bum genius cloth sprayer Waterproof pail liner Wet/dry bag Spray pal splatter shield  For our homemade wipes: GroVia  -Reusable cloth diaper wipes Cj's butter cleaner (Sweet orange scent) When making our wipes. We make just enough for the day. I don't want it sitting for too long and I rather wash them when I am washing the cloth inserts. I bought 3 packets worth. -Making sure I had more than enough. When we're out and about I use the wet/dry bag. I place soiled diapers into the wet section and dry diapers remain in the zipped dry section. ...

Sweet baby.

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She   never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. a mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh e She's here! We're so thrilled to welcome our sweet baby love into this world. She arrived on September 16, 2014.  With the amazing support of my husband and doula, I was able to accomplish my natural birth goals. I'm so thankful for the experience and I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity.  Lately, we have enjoyed our days embracing our new bundle of joy. Her big sister has been such a great little helper. She enjoys kissing, holding, and cuddling with her baby sister. - Sometimes I just sit and watch her stare at her little sister. - It's such a beautiful moment.  So we're all enjoying, embracing, and absolutely loving these moments spent together.  Right now we're all still adjusting to a new schedule. - Between nursing, diapers,...

Beautiful bright light...

And just when you think things aren't working out and your days seem hectic remember... At the end of the tunnel there you will see that beautiful bright light . I've taken a short blogging break.-One that I feel I needed. Of course days are still hectic, but that's life! Today we all got to see that beautiful bright light. Today I had my very first ultrasound after having to reschedule. I'm currently 20 weeks and my due date is set for September 16th.  I'm happy to announce that we are expecting our 2nd sweet little princess.  We were so very excited to see our little beauty. -Our daughter has already made plans to sit and enjoy some tea when her little sister arrives. Today we enjoyed the beautiful bright light and embraced every minute of it. “Where there is love there is life.”  ―  Mahatma Gandhi
