I hope you're having a great week. Recently, my family and I decided to visit our nearby zoo. We'd gone a few times before the pandemic but hadn't gone for a while. Since the weather was in the upper 60s, we decided to make reservations and visit the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, which is the highest zoo in the country, with an elevation of 6,714 feet above sea level. We had a lovely time at the zoo. We arrived on a warm and sunny day, but as the day progressed, the wind picked up and it got cooler. This is quite common during this time of year in Colorado. Despite the weather, we continued exploring the zoo and the girls even participated in a learning activity to count towards their school hours.
