Sipsby Tea | November Box Subscription Review

I've always found tea so comforting.  I really enjoy having a cup of tea during the evening hours. My husband is more of a coffee drinker, but I've been able to convince him to enjoy some tea with me.  I was so thrilled when I saw an advertisement for Sipsby ! I saw that they offer personalized tea subscription boxes. Of course, after seeing this, I went and checked them out. I love that they have a quiz that you can take so that you are matched with the perfect teas that are made just for you. Doesn't that sound wonderful? I mean, honestly, each month you get to explore different teas, and each time it is such a fun surprise!   My Sipsby subscription box My subscription box included four different teas that were based on my preference after taking the quiz, and a sheet of paper that had detailed tea information such as steep time, caffeine levels, and flavor. What I really loved was seeing that it was made just for me. In my box, there were three different t...

Tea please.

“Drinking tea with a pinch of imagination!”  ―Good reads It's been raining for the past two days. I absolutely love it and I do wish I owned a pair of rain boots. I'd probably go out and jump in muddy puddles.-Peppa Pig seems to be quoted a lot in our home by our three-year-old. I can't help but smile. This weekend we adventured out and did a bit of shopping. We took a short trip to one of my favorite stores, World Market. I always leave picking up more than expected.  While shopping, we came across a cute tea set for our daughter.  The set includes: -1 teapot with lid -4 cups -4 plates -1 creamer -1 sugar bowl -4 spoons -4 towels 12 color paints -1 paint brush and instructions for baking your tea set.  We arrived home and gathered around the table. Outside it was raining, and a window slightly opened. The air was fresh and we sat around watching our daughter paint her tea set. -We of course co...

Tea party-Diy paper tea bags

I absolutely love creating things. Today my daughter and I had a lovely tea party. We had some tea, pastries, cake and cookies. Sometimes I sneak in some real treats during our play tea party. She loves it! Today I decided to create some paper tea bags for her tea party. Materials needed: craft paper stapler yarn washi tape/optional stamps Glue shape puncher/heart shape Tea Bags -Start off by tracing out your tea bags.  Using paint, create the colors you want for your tea bags.  Once they are dry you can now stamp on your tea bags.  Using your stapler add a few staples leaving only an opening on the top  portion of your tea bag. Once that is all finished insert your yarn. Staple the yarn from the inside of the tea bag. Tea Tags -Using craft paper, staple to end of yarn.  Using hearts or whatever shape you have glue them to the tag. You can also use washi tape like I did. Enjoy!

A lovely Monday.

Today was a beautiful day. My daughter and I made some delicious blueberry muffins this morning. We sat together and enjoyed a nice breakfast. Later in the morning I took her to story time here at our local library. Today they had what they call "stay and play." They start by reading to the children, then have songs in which the toddlers dance to, and then they end with the kids staying and playing with each other. After story time we headed back home, and once we were home my daughter set up a little tea party with her dolls. She set up pastries, cake, and tea of course! (And of course mommy was invited) She usually hands me five cups at once and watches to make sure I’m enjoying the tea she has made. :) I love tea time with my little love. Today was absolutely beautiful. How did you enjoy your day today?
