The aroma of coffee fills the air each morning.- I enjoy this time. Honestly, it has been so peaceful.  I haven't had much time to stress.- And I am so thankful for this. Our Christmas was peaceful. Just the four of us.  It snowed a little on Christmas. -Just enough to admire for an hour or so. The blogger behind the blog.- A little about me.

Get to know me! With the help of one of my awesome friends, I've answered a few questions on blogging and life. Enjoy~ Q- Do you enjoy blogging? And why? A-I truly enjoy sharing my journey with all of you.- My thoughts, photos, current happenings, and much more. It really brings peace within. I honestly don't blog for followers. (If you are a regular reader of my blog, you might have noticed that I've taken down my followers). I actually did that some time back. There are a lot of bloggers out there that compare followers and comments, etc. I'm definitely not one. (So please don't leave me a link saying if you follow my blog, I'll follow you back). Honestly, we should all read blogs because we enjoy them. Not because you want a follow back. All I want is for you to come along on my blogging journey and enjoy it! -Whether you follow me, or you're just a visitor. Q-Tell us a little about the blogger... A-I'm a simple person, who tends to love

Ah, so here we are. It's been a bit chilly. Our Christmas decor is up and it didn't take very long. I've been feeling a bit festive and cheerful lately. This year, we started a new tradition. Each night leading up to Christmas, we'll unwrap a book to read together by the tree. - All books are either Christmas or winter themes. - It's amazing what you can find on the web. I came across this idea some time back and figured we would give it a try. More time reading to our girls is definitely a plus!  We're still attending events and have our normal routine going. We recently attended an event called, Cookies and Carols. It took place at one of the libraries here in town. We decorated cookies, sipped on hot cider, and then went around caroling. - It was so much fun! This month is packed with fun, festive events. We'll be attending a candlelit hike at one of our local nature centers. Our oldest is extremely excited abou

Our four-year-old made a tiny snowman.  We colored the snow with food coloring and enjoyed some cocoa.  Today was simple and filled with so much love. How's the weather over where you live? *Hello new readers! I'm so happy to have you here.

The days are getting colder.- We're bundling up more.  We recently took a trip to our local library. -During our visit my four-year-old made quick bird feeders for the birds. Here and there.

Halloween was simple.- We had a twirling Cinderella and a tiny bumblebee buzzing through our home. Our oldest had a friend over for games and a few crafts.  We filled our cups with cider.- This is something we do every year.  Later, we headed out. We visited a few homes and filled their bags with sweet goodies. I'm still enjoying this fall weather. - The snow never did make it.  I'm happy. I'm not quite ready for snowy weather. For now, I'm enjoying the cooler weather.  We were able to try out this year's Halloween drink from Starbucks.-  Frappula Frappuccin o .  It was delicious. Little pumpkins remain on our windowsill. I'll move them soon and rearrange them on our dining table.  I've taken a few requests for Thanksgiving and so I've been making a list of new foods to prepare.  Things have been simple.- I like it this way. We're still taking our weekly trips to our local library. I recently checked out a c

Here we are.

So here we are.- Busy days, sleepless nights, headaches, and a few other things in between. A new week and the little one is still teething. Our weekend was long. Truthfully I felt like a zombie and wanted nothing more than to sleep, sleep and sleep some more. Of course, that didn't happen! But hey it's life and I'm okay with that. Our little one ran a slight fever. She's teething and she's a bit fussy and seems to only want mama. So yes, I'm tired and achy and I may be getting a little fussy as well. -My coffee is currently decaf and doesn't do much for me. But a hot shower seems to help quite a bit. My eyes are slightly red and I've been experiencing headaches. I haven't been as hydrated as I should be. Today I've been making sure to drink more water and maintain my sanity. I was able to make it through lessons with my oldest. She sat after lessons were done and worked on a nice fall collage. Paper clippings and leaf punch-outs took ov
