This weekend, I plan to refresh a bistro set, and I might even start decorating my porch for Autumn.  My husband has picked up a new hobby—he's building a guitar from a kit he bought. He's already painted it, and we're really excited to see him start building it.  Some of you may remember when I mentioned his boss gave him an acoustic guitar, and for his birthday, I got him a bass guitar as well.  I'll share pictures when he's finished with his guitar! This week: I logged a few volunteer hours with an organization where I started volunteering. I've been volunteering for about 6 weeks now. We help people through difficult times. There's just something so rewarding about knowing that your kindness and presence have helped someone. I reconnected with an old friend. We chatted, laughed, and shared old memories. We both know that our lives are completely different, but it's nice to be able to say hi and reconnect. My husband continues with physical therapy for his back. How was your week? I hope you are all doing well. This week: - We experienced a few rainy days, which caused some damage to our downstairs window. My weekend will be spent cleaning up the damage and making repairs! - I noticed the squirrel, yes, the same cute one from last week's party, munching on my beautiful rose bush! I had to hurry and shoo him away. - I still haven't tried the new Raspberry syrup from Starbucks. I've heard it pairs well with the iced white chocolate mocha; you can add raspberry cream to the drink for a delicious twist. I may just pick up raspberry syrup from my local World Market and make my own! These past two months have been filled with so much love, and us making memories together. In August, we went on a mini adventure to Denver. We live only an hour away, so it was just a quick getaway. When we first arrived in Denver, we had some time to spare before our room at the hotel would be ready. We stayed at The Curtis Hotel . During our stay, we parked in the parking garage attached to the building and walked everywhere including to the Ball Arena for the concert. We had been planning to attend the Twenty One Pilots concert, The Clancy Tour, for months. We have a few super fans in our home.  Planning involved making bracelets, decorating shoes, and creating shirts for the concert.  We were just so excited....

I hope everyone is doing well. We recently returned from our trip and it was absolutely wonderful. We live about an hour away from Denver and we decided to attend a concert there and visit a few other places while we were in the city.  We had a great stay at The Curtis Denver. We planned everything out and since it was only a 13-minute walk to the Ball Arena, our location worked out perfectly. We used the parking garage near the hotel and walked during our trip, which was nice. I'm hoping to share a post about our trip soon. Moving on to the party... Hello everyone, I hope all of you are doing well. We've been busy planning for school and other upcoming events. Next week, we are looking forward to a Staycation with our daughters. Since school starts on Monday, we decided to have a Staycation in Denver next weekend. We plan to attend a concert and explore a museum. Don't worry, I'll still be hosting the party next Friday!
