April turned out to be a fantastic month for us, and I hope it was for you too! We celebrated our oldest daughter's 14th birthday, and it’s hard for me to accept that she’s no longer a little girl. We enjoyed a homemade Oreo cookie cake, opened gifts, and had dinner at Old Chicago. Her biggest surprise was tickets to the Half Alive Persona Tour. Before our vacation, our youngest daughter completed a crochet project using the Woobles crochet kit we bought her. It was her first crochet project that she completed on her own. This kit is great for beginners. Since the concert was in Denver, we decided to keep our mini vacation local. We stayed at the Curtis Denver Hotel for the second time and enjoyed a week-long stay. We mainly walked around, leaving our car parked in the parking garage, and the weather was mostly nice and cool. Around the area, we captured some really cool art on buildings.
