Journey to happiness.

“The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy—it's all that matters.”  ―  Audrey Hepburn Source I'm currently diving into a book by Moorea Seal, 52 Lists For Happiness.  This book is a weekly journaling inspiration for positivity, balance, and joy. Do you journal? Have you been thinking about starting up a journal? If you have been thinking about starting a journal, this might be the right time to start. I've always enjoyed writing in a journal.  It really gives you peace of mind. Take a moment, and think about what truly makes you happy. What brings you joy?  You'll find that this book helps you connect your thoughts to pen and paper in a very enjoyable way.  I feel that it is a way that we can clear our minds, and reconnect in areas in our lives that we often neglect.   I think it is important to practice self-care, and keeping a journal is a great way to de-stress, be mindful, and calm us when life sta...

Hello December.

“December, being the last month of the year, cannot help but make us think of what is to come.”  ―  Fennel Hudson,  A Meaningful Life - Fennel's Journal - No. 1 Hello December. It's so nice to have you here. The days are cold, but our hearts are warm. We're filled with so much love, and there's so much to be thankful for. What are you most thankful for? We spend our days busy as can be, but when we have time to finally take it all in we continue to count our blessings. This year was an eventful year.- One with challenges, changes, and new adventures.  Somehow through all the chaos, we made it! Isn't it amazing how life can be tough at times, but in the end, we pull through?   I hope that December is treating you all well. May you experience joy, love, and peace.  May your days be merry and bright. ♡♡

May you twinkle ever so brightly.

“Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.” ―Oprah Winfrey   Source We made it through another year. This year sure was a roller coaster. I didn't blog as much as I would have liked to. The beginning of the year was pretty rough after losing my father. I wish I could go back and just give him the biggest hug. Of course with the amazing support of my family and friends, I've managed to pull through. I'm reconnecting with those I once lost contact with and I'm just trying to live and experience life to the fullest. This year may not have started as a good one, but I think there are many life lessons and I'm learning each day that life is truly short and we need to cherish the ones we love and those who love us back. Stop trying to earn love from those who push you away.  Love those who have been with you through ups and downs and have never left your side. May you live life to the fullest. Smile more. H...

10 things to do to experience a happy, joyful, loving life.

Go for a walk. Explore some beautiful scenery and it never really hurts to get fresh air. Snuggle up with a good book. Hey maybe even listen to an audiobook. Read something inspiring, motivational, or even funny.  Hug someone. I hope you love hugs just as much as I do. I just love hugs from my family.  We can all use more hugs! Take a road trip. Again explore the beautiful scenery around you.  Take pictures of things you find fascinating, beautiful, and simple. You'll enjoy looking back on the photos you've taken. Call, or write a friend. I'm sure they will love hearing about all your new adventures and catching up is always so much fun. Find something you enjoy doing. Whether it's painting, knitting, creating pottery, or experimenting with a new recipe. Once you find out what it is take some time to enjoy that and maybe even turn it into a new hobby. Keep a journal. I've mentioned this before in a few other posts. It's a great way to release your t...

Tis the Season to Spread Love with Custom Cards.

My  opinions are completely my own based on the products I have received.  (Tiny Prints link exchange)     We all know that around this time of the year, things can get pretty hectic.  If you're anything like me, you like to get things done ahead of time. With that being said, I received an order of Christmas cards from Tiny Prints that reflected exactly what I requested.    I also got a Christmas ornament that was in an attractive little bag.    I love the fact that I am able to visit their site and create my very own custom cards, for a price not much more than purchasing card stock. If you aren't familiar with Tiny Prints, they make custom items typically based on your pictures.      My recent order included 10 whimsical rainbow pearl-themed cards, 10 5x7 bright red bokeh confetti envelope liners, 10 gold envelopes, and a bright red sugar vine Christmas ornament. My cards are a ...
