Cool breezy evening..

Yesterday I had a long visit at the dental office, boy I dread those shots they give. I had work done on a cracked tooth. Afterwards all I wanted to do was relax! Once we got home, we made sure to enjoy the evening. The weather has been absolutely lovely these past few days. We enjoyed a nice evening out on the back porch. We grilled, enjoyed the beautiful sky as the sun set, and blew some bubbles for our little sweet one. Oh and before I forget, we enjoyed some sweet watermelon. Boy, it was delicious! (I even froze a few pieces and made watermelon slushies later on in the evening. Our evening was so lovely. I can't wait for this spring weather to stay. Last night actually made me think about cool breezy summer nights. (You know the nights you sit out, and kick back and relax) I'm so excited for more nights like this. :)         {The sky was beautiful} {Sitting out enjoying a lovely evening} {Yum, sweet watermelon}

We took our little sweetheart to Barnes and noble story time. While there we picked up two new books to add to her collection.       {Cinnamon roll pancakes} Yum, My husband got down in the kitchen :)   I was able  to fit in some card making this weekend,  I love creating new things!          It's been such a lovely weekend, I'm sad to see it go. The weather was beautiful, and sun actually came out and stayed for a while! We grilled, enjoyed each other's company, and listened to a little soft jazz.  How was your weekend? How did you spend it?

My very own play flower garden

This little diy craft was so much fun! I came up with this since my daughter enjoys helping with my garden. Materials needed: construction paper empty box  scissors glue stick cotton flowers I used flower and little chicken cupcake toppers. I purchased these adorable little toppers at Target in the dollar section around Easter. optional-washi tape paper towel roll/ or TP roll {Play water can} When creating the water can start off with cutting your paper towel roll in half.  If you're using a tp roll then you may not need to cut it. Using construction paper cover the roll. I used tape. I found it to be easier. I made a small hole and inserted some construction paper I had rolled into a tube shape. I then cut out a circle for the actual water spout. After doing this I used some glue and glued it to the tube shape. Using washi tape I went over and covered a few spots. To make your water can handle just cut your paper towel tube into a ring s

Craft time-(Diy Popsicle stick box)

Popsicle stick box Materials needed: hot glue  Popsicle sticks paint It really is a very simple craft. Using popsicle sticks apply glue to ends of popsicle sticks and apply each one. First start off with making a squared frame using four popsicle sticks. Once that is done continue to apply hot glue and popsicle sticks. Repeat until you reach the height you want for your box. Once finished, apply paint, and allow it to dry. You can add whatever design you want to your box. Enjoy!

Friday-{Have you smiled today?} :)

It's not quite spring weather here, but I'll take it. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and there's a cool breeze in the air. It's a new day, and I'm extremely thankful for it. Today I smile because, I am thankful for life, and the life God has given me. Art/craft time with my daughter always makes me smile :)        {A nice cup of coffee, while writing in my daughter's journal always seems to bring a smile to my face}     {Finding an old book, and starting over with it, this makes me happy}     {I can't wait to cook a delicious meal, with my herbs} -They have grown so much. I can't wait to start my garden.     {I love collecting wine corks. They make a beautiful center piece in a vase or bowl}     {Hello Geese} I'm sure they can't wait to see some real Spring weather.   “The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy—it's all that matters.” ―

We had such a fun time at our daughters play pizza party. Using construction paper, we put together a pizza and added some delicious toppings. :) This activity was fun, and very hands on. This was a great way to for our daughter to learn more about shapes as she explored with the pizza toppings. The toppings we had at our play pizza party were: Olives pineapples pepperoni bell pepper cheese Our daughter had so much fun arranging the toppings, and we also went over a few shapes as she placed it on her pizza. Such a fun activity for the whole family. Pin For later
