Simple DIY for fresh flowers

I love simple DIY projects.

After cutting a few flowers from my flowerbed, I decided to put them on display by using an old glass candle jar.

I have done similar projects like this before, and it only takes a minute or two.

Any glass jar will do, but I ended up using an empty glass candle jar.

I  started off by washing out my glass jar. You want to make sure to get rid of all of the candle wax that may still be in your jar.

After I took some of my pink and green tapes, cut them, and applied them to my glass jar.

Taking some fresh flowers from my garden, I placed them in my glass jar with some water.
Place your fresh flowers in an area where you can enjoy them. I set them on our kitchen windowsill.

Now I'm able to enjoy the beautiful colors of my summer flowers. Simple and fun. -Enjoy!
