May we always smile.

I'm finding more time to rejoice in simple moments.

So much has been going on lately.
This month my husband and I will be celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary.- We're both very happy and amazed at how much things have changed over time. Our family has grown. -More laughter, hugs, kisses, and more time to make beautiful memories.

This month also marks one year of a close friend's passing.- It actually is still very hard. I'm finding that if I think of all the happy memories, and her positive outlook on life, it makes things easier. I think about her often. - She was beautiful inside and out.

I've been staying busy.  We're currently going over our weather unit study. Our daughter seems to be enjoying her time learning about clouds, rainbows, wind, and all the other elements of weather.
Our little sweet pea has been coloring and exploring books, and play dough. Her two top teeth just recently broke through. - We celebrated with dancing and a whole lot of tickles.

The weather has been shifting. - It's actually not too bad. We're still using heating blankets, and wearing scarves and mittens.  A few days back I actually chipped a lower tooth.- I wasn't expecting this to happen. So I've had to take some time out and visit my dentist. Everything has been taken care of. I'm relieved it wasn't so bad.

We're all ready to see what this year has in store for us.
One thing is for sure...
May we always remember to smile.
We'll rejoice, and celebrate these simple moments.

Easy DIY Springtime Wooden Beehive Decoration Materials One wooden beehive decoration Wooden oval piece Scrap wood or a wooden rectangular section Mod podge-optional Acrylic paint Faux Floral Hot glue Paintbrush Wooden letters Adding paint to the wooden decoration Start by applying your paint to your wooden beehive decoration. I used yellow and black paint for this. After you allow your paint to dry, you can add a layer of Mod Podge over your beehive decoration. I decided to use my Mod Podge that has glitter in it. Video tutorial coming soon Materials for Your Garden Treasure Clear Plastic Plate: Start with a basic household item ready for upcycling.  Black Glass Paint: This will be used to trace your intricate floral design.  Transparent Glass Paints: I chose a palette of soft lavender, pink, and emerald green for a natural look.  Heat Tool: This is essential for setting your paint layers quickly so you can keep creating.  Hanging Tools: You can use a hole punch, a soldering iron, or even a hot glue gun, depending on your preference.
