Our little garden buddies.- An easy Spring time craft.

We recently took a trip to the library and created these fun little garden buddies. -This was a nice addition to our Botany unit study.
We had such a fun time! This was super simple and very easy to create.

Materials needed:

-Seeds (We used grass seeds).
-Soil
-Stocking's
-pipe cleaners
-googly eyes
-Plastic cup
Those of course are optional, but it just makes it more fun!

Start with taking some soil, and filling up your stocking. - You'll want to add just a little soil.
Next, take some seeds, and place them in. Take the remaining soil and fill your stalking up. Make sure to cover the seeds.

Make sure it starts to form a round ball.

Once formed into a round ball, tie off the end of the stocking. I cut any excess material that was left.  This is when you can place it into your plastic cup. (You could even use a pot for this).

Now you can start decorating it. - Have fun, and be creative!

Place it in a sunny spot, and give it water. - You'll love watching your little garden buddy grow. My daughter loves it, and it is perfect for spring.

Enjoy!

-Stephanie

If you love finding new DIY ideas and learning from other bloggers, you’re in the perfect spot! Hi everyone! How was your week? This week, we were blessed with more rain, and I am so thankful. It's been a hot summer with wildfires and droughts, so it's nice to have a few days to cool down a bit. Below, I've shared two photos that I posted on my Instagram story. The first one shows one of our lovely hummingbirds relaxing on the swing near the feeder. I love watching them from our dining room window. In the second photo, we had another visitor at the feeder, and the sunlight shining through the window that evening was absolutely beautiful. I'd say this week was a nice one. Congratulations  to ou...

I've decided to completely dig up my flowerbeds and start each of them over next growing season. The heat did a number on my flowers this growing season. Our grass also did not do well this year. So now we are left with so many decisions about what to do next.  I'm excited to share the wonderful featured posts with everyone. DIY Floral Wooden Jack‑O’‑Lanterns (Easy Fall Decor)

I’ve been having so much fun creating fall projects this year. These floral wooden jack‑o’‑lanterns  started as simple wooden pumpkins, but with a few pretty transfers and some soft paint colors, they turned into the sweetest little fall accents. I love how the florals give them a cozy, cottage‑style feel while still keeping that classic jack‑o’‑lantern charm. They’re quick to make, easy to customize, and such a cute way to add a warm autumn touch to your home. Materials Wooden pumpkin cutouts Floral transfers Acrylic paint (your chosen colors) Gold acrylic paint Green acrylic paint Mini dowels Hot glue gun + glue sticks Small wooden stands Brown acrylic paint Paintbrushes   Add the floral transfers I started by placing my floral transfers onto each wooden pumpkin, just arranging them until they felt right. Once they were where I wanted them, I used a little rubbing tool to press them down and transfer the design onto the wood. Take your time with this part — slow, even pressu...

Photowall  is a Swedish wall art company that creates beautiful murals, wallpaper, framed prints, canvas designs, custom designs, and much more.  Their products can bring inspiration, beauty, and a unique touch to any space. Learn more about Photowall Source Source I was thrilled when I was contacted to collaborate with their company. After viewing their website and looking through their product line, I just knew I would love my very own canvas design for my home. Our oldest daughter is in love with all things that pertain to space. They had a full selection of space designs. So, after going through a few pages of their canvas designs, we found a design that was perfect for her. I placed my order with them, and my order arrived within a few short days. Once our product arrived, my husband unboxed the product, and we were impressed with how everything was in order in the box. All the hardware, wooden frame pieces, instructions, and canvas were ...
