Autumn.-Our days.

Isn't it beautiful how with each season comes to change? My favorite season of them all is Autumn and I'm so glad that it has arrived. With each day that passes, we see change and it's really important to capture each moment. I look back on pictures that I've taken and I'm amazed at how so much has changed over time.

My flowers in the garden are still showing off their beautiful colors, but some are slowly fading away. I normally cut a few and bring them into the house and display them in vases. My fall decor is out and today there is a cool breeze in the air. My oldest has been busy with school. Our youngest just turned four this month. They are always making us smile.

I'll celebrate my birthday this month and I'm actually looking forward to a few changes. My husband just had a big promotion and we are just so thankful.-God is good all the time!

Our days are busy, but our days are always filled with so much love. These days I'm just really thankful and feel so blessed. How are you all doing these days?

We recently bought a juicer and so I've been juicing more often. My favorite combination is apples, carrots, and oranges. I continue to work out Monday-Friday and I've started running again too. I never thought that through an exercise I'd find some sense of peace.

I'm currently looking through a few books. I still enjoy coffee each morning, but for a year now it's been black. My husband still roasts coffee beans and if he isn't roasting them we just buy whole beans and grind them. My favorite is on the weekend. My husband and I can sit and enjoy our coffee together while we talk about life.

I'm excited for the new, This Is Us season. This show is so good and I can honestly say I am filled with all emotions every time  I watch it. If you have watched this show you will know exactly what I am talking about.

I hope life is treating you all well and I hope that I'll get into blogging more soon. To all my beautiful readers out there, thank you for visiting my blog and allowing me to share my life with you all. I appreciate it so much. Until next time, have a beautiful rest of your week.

♡Stephanie

Colorful Summer Flower: Recycled Paper Towel DIY

Looking to bring a little sunshine into your space without visiting the craft store? This whimsical summer flower decoration makes great use of what you already have—think beads, pom poms, a humble paper towel tube, and a splash of acrylic paint. Bonus: it’s the perfect way to reuse an old frame and welcome summer in style! What You’ll Need: 1 paper towel tube (emptied, of course!) Acrylic paint (I chose a deeper pink) Craft pom poms (yellow makes a great center!) Assorted beads (medium for the stem, smaller for embellishing the petals) Foam letters (for your summer message) A reused frame (square or any shape of your choice) Scissors Hot glue gun Creating your summer flower decoration Cut the Tube and Shape the Petals :  Start by cutting the paper towel tube into four evenly-sized sections. Each section will serve as a petal. You should be left with four rings. Next, flatten each ring, then gently reshape it to form soft ovals. These will mimic delicate flower...

I hope you all had a great week. This week, my girls started their spring break. We enjoyed an eventful few days with our weather changing—wind, snow, rain, and more wind! Next week looks like we'll experience some temperatures in the 70s—fingers crossed!  I had a dental appointment and needed work on one tooth. I always dread those visits, but it was necessary. Now I'm ready to take it easy this weekend. I hope you all had a wonderful week! Fun with popsicle sticks...and more!

Since my daughter and I didn't make it out to the library, we did our own craft, and story time. (Which in my opinion is the best) :) Today we made popsicle stick frames, with a message. It was so much fun. For this craft the materials you need are: -Popsicle sticks -Hot glue gun -Paint -Markers/crayons -Construction paper (and scissors) 1.Start off by making a frame out of your popsicle sticks. Glue the corners together. I went ahead and made a message on construction paper to glue on to the back of the frame. (You will have to cut it to fit the frame. 2.Once that is done, paint your frame. (Have fun with it!) My daughter had so much fun with all the different colors. :) 3.Now once that is finished make a T-shape out of two popsicle sticks. (This is for the stand for the back of the frame.) Glue both sticks together, and glue it to the back of the construction paper. You're all done! Now you have a cute popsicle stick frame, with a message! Enjoy~ ...
