DIY-Valentine frame art display and a bonus craft

Looking for a unique way to display your Valentine's cards or artwork? Try making a DIY Valentine frame art display! This step-by-step guide will walk you through the process and help you create a beautiful display. We've also included a bonus craft idea to add an extra touch of love to your home decor. As a parent, I'm always searching for creative ways to showcase my daughters' art, and this Valentine's Day frame craft is a simple and adorable option.

Valentine Frame Art decorated with hearts

Two black picture frames

Glitter sticker hearts and foam hearts

Materials Needed:

- Picture Frames
- Sticker Valentine's hearts
- Glitter hearts (These were not stickers, but I'm sure you could find some that are)
- Paint
- Glue
- Paintbrushes

Decorating the frames
I purchased my materials from the Dollar Tree store, but you can choose any store of your choice to get them. This is a simple craft that kids can enjoy doing.

Just set out some paint, paintbrushes, and frames, and let your kids paint their frames.

I could have picked white frames, but I decided against it so that my kids could have fun painting them.

Once the paint is completely dry, take out some Valentine's heart stickers and let your kids decorate their frames.

To make it more interesting, I encouraged my girls to create some art to put in the frames so that we could display them. It's a fun craft that you and your kids can enjoy together.

Love Sign

Love decor sign

Materials needed:
- Paint
- Glitter hearts
- Glue (since my glitter hearts did not have a sticky back)

This project is really simple to make. I bought a sign from the Dollar Tree store while picking up frames for an art display.

Creating and designing your sign

To start, choose a color for your sign. I used white acrylic paint and a darker pink shade. Once the paint was completely dry, I added some glitter hearts. Since the hearts did not have a sticky back, I had to glue them on.

That's it - you're all done! The sign looks wonderful on display in our living room. For some extra fun, you could also add some silver or even pink glitter over the letters.

Colorful Summer Flower: Recycled Paper Towel DIY

Looking to bring a little sunshine into your space without visiting the craft store? This whimsical summer flower decoration makes great use of what you already have—think beads, pom poms, a humble paper towel tube, and a splash of acrylic paint. Bonus: it’s the perfect way to reuse an old frame and welcome summer in style! What You’ll Need: 1 paper towel tube (emptied, of course!) Acrylic paint (I chose a deeper pink) Craft pom poms (yellow makes a great center!) Assorted beads (medium for the stem, smaller for embellishing the petals) Foam letters (for your summer message) A reused frame (square or any shape of your choice) Scissors Hot glue gun Creating your summer flower decoration Cut the Tube and Shape the Petals :  Start by cutting the paper towel tube into four evenly-sized sections. Each section will serve as a petal. You should be left with four rings. Next, flatten each ring, then gently reshape it to form soft ovals. These will mimic delicate flower...

From Trash to Treasure: DIY Faux Stained Glass Garden Decor

Today, I’m so excited to share a heart-centered project that turns a simple household item into an elevated piece of garden art. We are transforming a basic plastic plate into a vibrant, faux stained glass sun-catcher that sparkles in the sun. Video tutorial coming soon Materials for Your Garden Treasure Clear Plastic Plate: Start with a basic household item ready for upcycling.  Black Glass Paint: This will be used to trace your intricate floral design.  Transparent Glass Paints: I chose a palette of soft lavender, pink, and emerald green for a natural look.  Heat Tool: This is essential for setting your paint layers quickly so you can keep creating.  Hanging Tools: You can use a hole punch, a soldering iron, or even a hot glue gun, depending on your preference. Succulent Centerpiece using Dollar Tree Items

Looking to add some greenery to your space?  Hello everyone! Today, we’re going to create a quick and simple succulent display using a round baking pan from Dollar Tree. I completed this craft a while ago, but forgot to share it with you. It's an easy project, and all the materials—except for the spray paint—were purchased at Dollar Tree. You can make this lovely decoration in just 10 minutes. Let’s get started on this succulent decoration together! Materials -One baking pan -Spray paint -Stones/rocks -Crushed glass -Artificial succulents -One glass candle holder Start by applying spray paint to the baking pan. I had a bronze color from a previous project, and it would be a great opportunity to use it again. When applying spray paint, make sure to cover the surrounding area and ensure that the space is well-ventilated.  Once you have painted the pan, allow the paint to dry. I used a heating tool to speed up the drying process, but if you prefer, you can let it air dry, which m...
