30 Day Photo Challenge.- Capturing moments

Hello!

I'm so happy to have you here.

I put together this 30-day photo challenge to help you capture everyday moments.
Beautiful moments, simple moments, silly moments, and just a few things in between.
I think that through this challenge you will grow to love taking pictures if you don't already!

Grab your camera, and let's get going!

“You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”
― Ansel Adams

Do you enjoy taking pictures?
Is there a picture that you have taken that brings back so many memories?
I'd love to hear about it...
Leave a comment below.

And now I'll leave you with just a few of my favorite photography quotes...

“For me, the camera is a sketch book, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity.”
― Henri Cartier-Bresson

“A photograph can be an instant of life captured for eternity that will never cease looking back at you.”
― Brigitte Bardot

“Photography is a magical kind of art that allows people to preserve time and moments, and to describe the world the way they see it.”
― Sahara Sanders

  1. So often, we don't take the time to photograph ordinary everyday things. Taking the time to take these photos will definitely make us slow down and appreciate the small things in life.

  5. This is a good challenge, with a nice mix of different components. I love how a lot of them are nature-related, which means that you'll be forced to spend loads of time outside.

  6. This is a great challenge! Honestly, I'm so happy that I started running an Instagram account for my blogs. It helped me to start taking more pictures and recording memories that are so important for me. My accounts aren't overly staged - they are very real and raw, which helps.

  9. I DO love taking pictures. I'm not a pro, but I don't think that matters. I love that quote you shared by Ansel Adams--that's exactly what I think, too. :) What a nice challenge--a great opportunity to focus on the little things and see if you can create something interesting from it! Thank you for sharing this post at the Will Blog for Comments #28 linkup! Hope to see you next week, too.

Keeping Blogging Positive: The Do’s and Don’ts of Community Support

The Do’s and Don’ts in a Blogging Community If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years of blogging, it’s that the community can be one of the best parts of the whole experience — when we’re actually supporting each other. Blogging isn’t just hitting publish and hoping someone reads it. It’s connecting, showing up for one another, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome to share their voice. But let’s be honest: not every corner of the blogging world feels that way. Sometimes people forget that behind every blog is a real person doing their best. So I wanted to put together a simple, down‑to‑earth list of do’s and don’ts — the things that genuinely help build a positive blogging community, and the things that… well, don’t. Nothing complicated, nothing dramatic. Just the kind of common‑sense, supportive habits that make blogging more enjoyable for all of us. From Trash to Treasure: DIY Faux Stained Glass Garden Decor

2 Easy Ways to Upcycle Glass Jars into DIY Candle Lanterns

I love taking something I already have around the house and giving it a little new life. These two jars started out plain and simple, but with a bit of gallery glass paint, a few butterfly stickers, and some gems, they turned into the sweetest little candle holders. They’re soft, colorful, and full of that handmade charm — the kind of gift that feels personal and thoughtful without being tied to any specific occasion. I used battery‑operated candles inside each jar, which gives them a warm, cozy glow while keeping things safe and easy. They’re perfect for gifting or adding a gentle touch of light to your own space. Video tutorial coming soon... Sometimes the smallest projects bring the softest kind of joy. In today’s quick video, I’m sharing how I decorated a few glass candle holders using paint, stickers, and little gem accents.
