A Few Happenings My youngest's volleyball team has won every game since the start of the season. We're so proud of her and her team. We have two more games left this season. This week, someone slammed our side fence with their motorcycle. Thank goodness for cameras! My husband went over to check if the individual was okay, and now we have made arrangements to get them to pay for the damage. It snowed for two days, and we were happy for the moisture. Easy Upcycling Project: Winter Floral Decor from a Spam Can

🌲 Winter is the perfect season to add cozy, handmade touches to your home. One of my favorite ways to do this is by upcycling everyday items into festive décor. In this project, I transformed a simple spam can into a charming winter floral display for faux flowers. With a few crafting supplies and a little creativity, you can give new life to something that would otherwise be discarded. Materials Needed One cleaned spam can (label removed) Winter-themed ribbon Scissors (decorative edge scissors recommended) Hot glue gun Acrylic paint (brown and bronze) Sponge brushes (one large, one small) Craft foam block (to hold flowers in place) Holiday stamp (“Joy to the World”) Black ink pad Craft paper Mod Podge Heating tool (optional, for setting Mod Podge) Faux flowers of your choice Step 1: Painting the Can Begin by applying a coat of light brown acrylic paint to the spam can using a sponge brush.
