September to October: Feel-Good Moments

And here we are at the end of October with just a few more days left, and I've been cherishing these days. Our days are filled with love and beautiful moments we share as a family. I wanted to share some moments from September through this month that made us smile and that we continue to treasure. From small moments to big moments, I am truly grateful for these days. Here’s what we cherish that brings smiles to our faces. Admiring the fall colors: yellows, deep orange, red, and brown. During our walks here in Colorado, we enjoy the changing colors. I shared how our peppers performed this growing season, and we were very proud of their success. Over the weekend, we harvested more peppers before we cleaned up the garden. Our time in Milwaukee was beautiful. Although it was a short trip, it was definitely worth it. The Clancy Breach Tour in Milwaukee was a beautiful night. Tyler and Josh from Twenty One Pilots always put on a fantastic concert, and we were thrilled to experience thi...

A Two-Day Denver Getaway and Balu Brigada Concert

Since we live about an hour away from Denver, it’s usually our go-to spot for a quick getaway. We left our home early in the morning and decided to park at the hotel parking lot. After parking, we ventured out for breakfast/brunch. We chose to explore the menu at The Cheesecake Factory, and I’m glad we did. They offer brunch on Saturdays and Sundays until 2:00 p.m. My husband ordered the Bruleed French Toast from the brunch menu, while I opted for the Create Your Own Omelet, which came with my choice of toppings, alongside a side of potatoes and an English muffin. I also enjoyed a caramel macchiato. The girls ordered from the lunch menu and enjoyed spicy chicken sandwiches. During our time in Denver, we did a lot of walking, which we are quite accustomed to. It was wonderful to explore the area and admire the beautiful changes in the trees. While we were there, we also visited the sculpture park located at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. The park features the iconic sculpture know...

Exploring: Our Milwaukee Trip + Twenty One Pilots Clancy Tour-Breach

“You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.” ―  Ansel Adams My husband planned a short trip for us to visit Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Although it was just a brief getaway, we created so many wonderful memories. I celebrated my birthday in September along with my youngest daughter, and my husband arranged for us to explore Milwaukee. We were excited to see one of our favorite bands, Twenty One Pilots. We had recently attended their performance in Colorado during the Clancy World Tour, and this time we were going to see them for the Clancy Tour-Breach. On our first day in Milwaukee, our luggage was misplaced. We were exhausted from our journey, and not having our belongings made it even more challenging. Fortunately, it could have been worse. After contacting the luggage department, we learned they were tracking our bags and asked u...
