Snapshots. Our week

Warm weather/creating art/homemade milkshakes/splashing in the pool/gardening/flower arrangements/outdoor play/coloring/Enjoying Harold and the purple crayon series/

It's been a lovely week.  I've been enjoying this time with our daughter before her little sister arrives. -We still have some time before I'm busy with nursing and changing diapers. I'm sure she knows just how much I love her and I want her to realize even when mommy is busy my love will never change for her.

With the warm weather, we have been spending our time outdoors. Activities take place on the back porch and there's been a lot of water play in the pool.  Our back porch seems to be the place for coloring and outdoor play for our daughter. -And possible naps for mom. :)

I've been happy and enjoying life. Next week I'll be 24 weeks along in this pregnancy. We scheduled two hospital tours, so there's some progress being made.

This week- we snipped a few flowers from the garden and made simple flower arrangements.  I figured our dining table could use some fresh flowers.

What have you all been up to? How's the weather where you live?

Hello and welcome new readers. And for those who have been on this journey with me for some time now, I appreciate all of you.

  1. We've had a chilled out week this week. Weather has been variable (It's Scotland, so looms between rolling mists and fog, gorgeous beach-weather and drizzly, cold rain!)

This week hubby and I headed to the local art degree show, had a river bank walk where we picked wild garlic and headed to the beach with the kids to bury their legs in the sand! Happy days :)

  3. I hope you're feeling well. I remember that your stage and on is when things get pretty uncomfortable. What camera do you use? You come across like a pro photographer! I need help with my new Samsung NX2000.

  4. Looks like your having a terrific week. It's been warm and rainy here but I love the smell of rain so I guess this is good weather for me. I've been pretty busy with potty training and it's not a fun task, but I am not going to let that ruin my week.

A while ago, I purchased some pin cushions from my local Dollar Tree and stored them away, completely forgetting about them. Materials Three pin cushions Glass jars (I'm reusing my garlic jars) Mod Podge Paintbrush Acrylic paint Sewing and craft accessories to add to each glass jar Adding Mod Podge and Paint to jars To give my jars a stained glass appearance, I combined my Mod Podge and paint. I used a paintbrush to add a thin layer of the mixture and then used a drying tool to dry the paint. I repeated this process for...

Transforming a Chocolate Box into a Beautiful Hanging Heart

Chocolates always have a way of making things better, don't they?
