Simple Herbal Spice Tea Recipe

This easy herbal spice tea recipe is perfect for any season. It is infused with spices and sweetness, making it ideal for those battling a cold or anyone who just wants to relax with a nice cup of tea. Below, I will share how I prepare this simple tea.

Ingredients

1 sliced orange

Be sure to wash the orange before slicing. I used an organic fruit and vegetable wash, but you can make your own if you don't have it.

- 1 tablespoon of mulling spice

I used the Spice Islands mulling kit.

1 infuser ball

- 1 tea bag

For this recipe, I used one BIGELOW Lemon Ginger Herbal Tea bag.

1 teaspoon of honey

You can adjust the amount based on your preferred level of sweetness.

Preparing Your Tea

Start by boiling a cup of water. Once it's hot, add your infuser ball filled with mulling spices and let it steep for about 3 minutes. After that, add your tea bag to the infuser.

Allow the tea bag to steep for about 4 minutes to let the flavors meld together. Once the steeping is complete, remove both the tea bag and the infuser ball. Then, add a spoonful of honey and give it a quick stir. Please note that you can use any sweetener you prefer.

Next, slice your oranges. Squeeze a little juice into your cup and add two slices for extra flavor.

The taste of this tea is amazing! Take a moment to relax and enjoy it.

If you love finding new DIY ideas and learning from other bloggers, you’re in the perfect spot! We just picked up our youngest daughter from summer camp yesterday. She had so much fun and met new people. The drive to her camp was beautiful. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected, including families, wildlife, firefighters, and others who have been working so hard to deal with these fires. It's been dry and windy, and we could honestly use some moisture. Wishing you all a ...
