ReplyDeleteMelanie, thank you! Yes it is amazing how even after so long we all have that one memory that we just can't get rid of. :)
DeleteThese are all great questions to ponder in anyone's journey of self-discovery. I find the best opportunities to address these is during peaceful times when you are not rushed and can indulge in some reflection. Those are times when I think you can obtain great clarity, especially when out in nature, overlooking some beautiful spot.
ReplyDeleteNicole, I love that! You're right during a peaceful time is the best way to reflect on these questions.
DeleteI started a gratitude journal this month and love it. It's making me want to do more journal writing - something I haven't done in too long. These are some really great prompts to get started and put ink to paper some important life moments, memories, feelings etc that can easily get lost (and forgotten) in our hectic lives! Thanks so much for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI need to give this a try. I'll never be accused of being an introspective person, so these would really help me.
ReplyDeleteWe all have our strength and weaknesses, most of the time we forget the strength and focus on our weakness too much. This is why we think that we are not good enough sometimes. Good post
ReplyDeleteI journal almost daily, sometimes twice a day. It is my form of meditation (although I am really planning to start meditating as well) and it really helps me clear my head and figure out what it is that I think or feel. I usually do steam of consciousness journaling, however, I find having writing prompts such as these are a great way to keep your journaling more focused.
ReplyDeleteMy self-discovery journey has is a lifetime journey. No matter i think its important to always reinvent in yourself and discover new things about yourself.
ReplyDeleteI have tried to start a journal a few times but I always end up setting it aside and forgetting to write in it. Maybe I would be able to create the habit if I were to start working my way through your prompts here.
ReplyDeleteawesome option for journaling, I am often out of ideas on what to write or even what to think of
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking about starting a journal just to kind of doodle about my random thoughts, and was looking for some prompts to get me going. This is so perfect! I'm glad you wrote this list, because I'll be coming back to it and using it.
ReplyDeleteTwo aspects that got me thinking the most are so very important in the context of the world we are living in right now. A memory or rather memories that I can't let go off,the happy memories. And what make me smile which is so much required not only now but always in our life.
ReplyDeleteI love to journal I will definitely be saving and using these prompts today after work.
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful prompts. As a "solid" memory-keeper, scrapbooker, and journaler, I feel like the "get to know you" aspects of these things can sometimes be lost or forgotten, so I love these ways to get you going and to connect with yourself! Pinning!
