DeleteI'm like you, the older I get, the smaller celebrations I prefer. My husband always makes a big deal out of our anniversary and my birthday. I love that about him, and that is the perfect way to make me feel special. My favorite quote you've listed is the Dr. Seuss one. No one is you-er and you, and that really does deserve to be celebrated.
