DIY Upcycled Sesame Oil Glass Bottle Design

Hello everyone! I hope all is well with you. After finishing my sesame oil, I decided to reuse the glass jar it came in as it had nice details on it. This craft only cost me around $2 for a floral sticker pack. I already had all the other materials on hand.

Painted glass sesame oil bottle with craft gems

Faux foliage, paint, and glass bottle

Materials needed

  • Chalk Paint I'm using the colors celery and mineral
  • Craft gems
  • Paintbrush
  • One faux vine
  • Hot glue
  • A few floral stickers
Applying paint to the glass jar

To begin, get an empty jar and wash it. I recommend using a dishwasher, especially if there's any scent left inside. Wait for it to dry before painting it. Use a paintbrush to apply a few coats of your main color; in this case, it's celery. Remember to apply around three coats to make it look nice and even.

Once you have added a few coats of paint, allow it to completely dry.  Once dry, take your second paint, and add it around the bottom, and top sections of your bottle.

Next, add a little hot glue on the back of your gems, and add them to your glass bottle.

After you have applied your gems, take your floral stickers and add them to your glass bottle.

Now that you have gathered all the necessary materials, it's time to add to your vine. If you want your vine to hang over your glass bottle, then there's no need to make any cuts to the stem. You can leave it as it is.

That's it! Your bottle is now complete and ready for display. I personally added my bottle to a floating shelf and I just love the way it looks. This craft is simple to create, and I hope you enjoy it.

Succulent Centerpiece using Dollar Tree Items

Looking to add some greenery to your space?  Hello everyone! Today, we’re going to create a quick and simple succulent display using a round baking pan from Dollar Tree. I completed this craft a while ago, but forgot to share it with you. It's an easy project, and all the materials—except for the spray paint—were purchased at Dollar Tree. You can make this lovely decoration in just 10 minutes. Let’s get started on this succulent decoration together! Materials -One baking pan -Spray paint -Stones/rocks -Crushed glass -Artificial succulents -One glass candle holder Start by applying spray paint to the baking pan. I had a bronze color from a previous project, and it would be a great opportunity to use it again. When applying spray paint, make sure to cover the surrounding area and ensure that the space is well-ventilated.  Once you have painted the pan, allow the paint to dry. I used a heating tool to speed up the drying process, but if you prefer, you can let it air dry, which m...

Keeping Blogging Positive: The Do’s and Don’ts of Community Support

The Do’s and Don’ts in a Blogging Community If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years of blogging, it’s that the community can be one of the best parts of the whole experience — when we’re actually supporting each other. Blogging isn’t just hitting publish and hoping someone reads it. It’s connecting, showing up for one another, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome to share their voice. But let’s be honest: not every corner of the blogging world feels that way. Sometimes people forget that behind every blog is a real person doing their best. So I wanted to put together a simple, down‑to‑earth list of do’s and don’ts — the things that genuinely help build a positive blogging community, and the things that… well, don’t. Nothing complicated, nothing dramatic. Just the kind of common‑sense, supportive habits that make blogging more enjoyable for all of us. The Do’s: How We Can Lift Each Other Up Do show support in ways that feel natural to you Support doesn’t have to b...

Lately: Things That Have Made My Heart Happy

Lately, I’ve been holding onto the small things—the gentle, unexpected moments that slip in between the busy ones and remind me how much beauty there is in simply being here, together. We’re almost stepping into April, and even though this month has brought its share of mishaps and little detours, it has also offered us so many soft, shining memories. The kind that settle in quietly and stay. These are the moments that have made my heart happy… Welcoming Spring With Fresh Flowers One morning at the market, I picked up a small bundle of spring flowers—nothing extravagant, just simple blooms in soft colors that felt like a whisper of the season ahead. Bringing them home and placing them on the table instantly brightened the whole space. It felt like inviting spring inside, letting a little bit of newness and hope settle into our everyday rhythm. Sunsets That Slow the World Down Evening after evening, the sky has been putting on a show—warm gold melting into rose, fading into deep violet....
