The Crazy Little Lovebirds Link Party 90

Welcome to The Crazy Little Love Birds Link Party #90! This party provides a platform for sharing inspiring content such as recipes, family-friendly blog posts, crafts, home decor, and other uplifting ideas.

Happy Friday! I hope your week has been nice. Today marks the last day of school for the girls, and they are thrilled—so am I! We'll have a 6th grader and a 10th grader in the upcoming school year.

Do you have any fun plans for the weekend? Gardening, shopping, or relaxing? I think aside from grocery shopping, we'll just take it easy this weekend.

My youngest daughter finished two new crochet projects, and I'm so proud of her! She made a cozy cup cover and a kitty. She's truly enjoying her new hobby. I'll share a few pictures below, including the beautiful sunset we enjoyed this week.

  1. I love your daughter's crochet projects! What a great hobby for her! These kids grow up too fast. I always heard people say, "the days are long, but the years are short". Now that mine are grown and I have an empty nest, I get it! Have a wonderful weekend!

  6. You're daughter's crochet projects are such fun Stephanie. I remember being fascinated as a young girl watching my grandmother crochet & was astonished that out of a single thread she could make so many items! Of course every time I crocheted an item now I still have that same delight!
I'm sitting at #24 this week, thank you for hosting.

A while ago, I purchased some pin cushions from my local Dollar Tree and stored them away, completely forgetting about them. I used a paintbrush to add a thin layer of the mixture and then used a drying tool to dry the paint. I repeated this process for...

Materials One heart-shaped chocolate box Acrylic paint One sanding block Fabric heart garland (I purchased my fabric heart garland at Dollar Tree) Paintbrush Faux flowers and greenery Hot glue Twine or rope Scissors Floral cutters Prepping the box I used a heart-shaped box for my project, which had raised letters and hearts design. To prepare the box, I used a sanding block to sand down the lettering and design.
