The Crazy Little Lovebirds Link Party 105

Welcome to The Crazy Little Love Birds Link Party #105! This party offers a platform for sharing inspiring content, including recipes, family-friendly blog posts, crafts, home décor, and other uplifting ideas.

Happy Friday! How is everyone doing? While I'm at it, how's the weather where you are? Our temperatures are starting to cool off; tomorrow, they say our high will be in the 60s.

We're still seeing a few hummingbirds at the feeder, and I recently made a ladybug house so that if any want a place to stay when the weather gets colder, they can move right in. I've never had one myself, but I did some research before building it. It's essentially a bug hotel. They have the cutest bee hotel at our local nature center, too. So it helped me with a few different ideas.

I hope you are all doing well, and if I haven't told you lately, thank you so much for joining the party each week. I appreciate all of you! Now, onto the wonderful featured posts.

Congratulations, featured bloggers

  1. A ladybug house? I didn't know those existed (other than my own house, where they like to live, lol). How adorable that would be. :)

    1. Lisa, I know, right? Haha, yes, they sure do. Lowe's actually has some for sale right now, but I wasn't sure about the ones they have. So I took a butterfly house, and my husband customized the entrance, and I painted it and whatnot. We will see if they will even use it, or if they will just hide in the foliage over the winter like they normally do.

  2. Stephanie, thanks so much for the visit and the link=up! I love the idea of a ladybug hotel, we have several "wild areas" on our property that we do not mow, water or mess with in any way. They are set aside for the bugs. Plus I have a habitat where bugs of all kinds can take up residence, and a special house for Mason bees. But I can see a ladybug hotel in my future, thanks!

    1. Melynda, I love that you have an area in your yard that doesn't get mowed, intentionally leaving that for the bugs. How wonderful. Love that you have a special house for Mason bees. This is my first attempt at a ladybug house. I hope it can help some of them out, at least. Thank you for sharing with us!

  3. Thanks so much for the party, Stephanie. Our hummingbirds are thinning out, too. I think it's breaking my husband's heart, as he just loves to feed them every day! I love the idea of a ladybug house!

Succulent Centerpiece using Dollar Tree Items

Looking to add some greenery to your space?  Hello everyone! Today, we’re going to create a quick and simple succulent display using a round baking pan from Dollar Tree. I completed this craft a while ago, but forgot to share it with you. It's an easy project, and all the materials—except for the spray paint—were purchased at Dollar Tree. You can make this lovely decoration in just 10 minutes. Let’s get started on this succulent decoration together! Materials -One baking pan -Spray paint -Stones/rocks -Crushed glass -Artificial succulents -One glass candle holder Start by applying spray paint to the baking pan. I had a bronze color from a previous project, and it would be a great opportunity to use it again. When applying spray paint, make sure to cover the surrounding area and ensure that the space is well-ventilated.  Once you have painted the pan, allow the paint to dry. I used a heating tool to speed up the drying process, but if you prefer, you can let it air dry, which m...

Lately: Things That Have Made My Heart Happy

Lately, I’ve been holding onto the small things—the gentle, unexpected moments that slip in between the busy ones and remind me how much beauty there is in simply being here, together. We’re almost stepping into April, and even though this month has brought its share of mishaps and little detours, it has also offered us so many soft, shining memories. The kind that settle in quietly and stay. These are the moments that have made my heart happy… Welcoming Spring With Fresh Flowers One morning at the market, I picked up a small bundle of spring flowers—nothing extravagant, just simple blooms in soft colors that felt like a whisper of the season ahead. Bringing them home and placing them on the table instantly brightened the whole space. It felt like inviting spring inside, letting a little bit of newness and hope settle into our everyday rhythm.
