Happy Friday! I want to thank everyone for the kind words at our last party. We've been taking it easy this week and are recovering well from the cold virus. Our youngest is getting ready to leave in a few days for a four-day summer camp, and she's really excited about it. How was your week? I hope you're all managing to stay cool in this summer heat.

While I'm at it, how's the weather where you are? Our temperatures are starting to cool off; tomorrow, they say our high will be in the 60s.  We're still seeing a few hummingbirds at the feeder, and I recently made a ladybug house so that if any want a place to stay when the weather gets colder, they can move right in.
