Doing well.

We're all doing well. Our days are less hectic and we are slowly getting back to our schedule. I'm enjoying the cooler weather. Fall weather is absolutely lovely here in Colorado. Lately, the air is fresh and I'm enjoying the beautiful colors of fall. - It's so beautiful out. We are enjoying baked goodies.  Preparing, warm baked oatmeal and apple crisp. My mother was out for a short visit. -It was nice having her. She prepared a few dishes for us. During her stay, we would all sit around and chit-chat. Our oldest really enjoyed time with grandma.  Lately, I've been experimenting with some new cloth diapers we recently purchased. I've done all my research on- detergents, cloth-safe diaper creams, and much more. So far it's pretty simple. -I think I've got the hang of it!  Simple days, and a lot of baby-wearing- make things simple and I seem to get a lot done when doing this. And of course, I absolutely love the b...

Sweet baby.

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She   never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother, never. a mother is something absolutely new. ~Rajneesh e She's here! We're so thrilled to welcome our sweet baby love into this world. She arrived on September 16, 2014.  With the amazing support of my husband and doula, I was able to accomplish my natural birth goals. I'm so thankful for the experience and I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity.  Lately, we have enjoyed our days embracing our new bundle of joy. Her big sister has been such a great little helper. She enjoys kissing, holding, and cuddling with her baby sister. - Sometimes I just sit and watch her stare at her little sister. - It's such a beautiful moment.  So we're all enjoying, embracing, and absolutely loving these moments spent together.  Right now we're all still adjusting to a new schedule. - Between nursing, diapers,...

And we meet again...

And we meet again... Breezy weather. Hiking shoes. Nature.  Happy faces. Fresh air. Water bottles. Bumble bees. Colorful butterflies. Big Sunflowers.  Wild weeds/flowers. Oh yes, it's definitely September.  Just living is not enough... one must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower. -Hans Christian Andersen I absolutely love this time of year. The air is fresh, the breeze is gentle and we love spending our time out in nature.   We'll hike until baby  starts showing signs of wanting out. I'm going on 39 weeks and I must admit the fresh air, walking and gentle breeze allows me to forget about any discomfort my pregnant body is currently experiencing.  This day, the air was fresh and the smell of rain approached us.  The calming sounds of nature surrounded us. -Buzzing bees, chirping birds and leaves on trees gently blowing in the wind.  -It was a beautiful day....

Hello September.

I love September, especially when we're in it. Willie Stargell Hello September... So many changes will happen this month. We will welcome our newest addition to our little family. Yes, our little family of three will grow into four. I probably should include our pug! So technically our family of four will grow into five. :) - We're so thrilled! We have enjoyed our time out in nature. Taking pictures and breathing in the fresh air.  I started baking again.- The sweet aroma of baked bread, cinnamon-covered almonds, and sugar plum fill our home.  I'm ready for fall to arrive. This is my birth month and I probably should enjoy my birthday a little more this year.  In my garden.. flowers are changing. I still have many visitors. - My favorite are the hummingbirds.  I'm ready. - I'm ready to welcome our baby, bake more, enjoy life more, and take these simple moments and turn them into everlasting memories. ...

Lately.

“Any moment called  now  is always full of possibles.”  ―  China Miéville ,  Kraken Lately. Rain visits us during the day. Nights are cooler and the sun shines perfectly.  We spend our time out on the porch.- Our daughter blowing bubbles and splashing away in her pool. My husband grills and I kick my feet up and enjoy these moments with my family.  Lately. Nature is absolutely beautiful. Rainbows appear after the rain and fields of flowers blow gently in the wind. Normally you can go on long drives and see nothing but sunflowers lining the side of the roads. -It's beautiful.  Lately. I'm nearing the end of this pregnancy.- 38 weeks next week.  I'm nesting, adjusting, and experiencing sleepless nights.  I've been experiencing contractions. Lots of contractions.  I usually sit them out, swaying my hips while sitting on my exercise ball. This is the time that our d...
