Weekend love.

We enjoyed the sunny days before the wind, rain, and snow came for a visit. We're expected to have this weather until late Monday night.

Saturday, we attended a family event at our local library. Inspector Magic was there with his animal friends. Kids and parents cheered and laughed along the way. It was a fun event for us all.

During the show, I just had to capture this bonding moment between my daughter and my husband.  These days she's growing fast. We cherish every moment spent with her.

My husband and daughter worked on my Mother's Day breakfast. I must say it was an overload of deliciousness. :) Pancakes with blueberry/orange topping, grilled ham steaks, bacon, and a side of egg. I enjoyed what I could before I became full. I really enjoyed this day. Each day my family makes me feel so loved. I'm very thankful to have them in my life.

My side of mango. This pregnancy has had me indulging in fruit. I absolutely cannot get enough fruit! I'm sure baby girl in my tummy loves it as well. I've been enjoying her more and more lately. She's moving, kicking, and making it known she's in there.

And of course this weekend we cooked up a new dish using a recipe from Orangette. Hambone, greens, and bean soup. Oh my, it was beyond delicious!

Our weekend was wonderful. We spent our time together, enjoying, bonding, and loving one another. I honestly wish our days were longer. But with the time we are given, we enjoy every last bit of it. I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend with your loved ones.

Hello and welcome new readers! It's so nice to have you here. :)

A while ago, I purchased some pin cushions from my local Dollar Tree and stored them away, completely forgetting about them. Transforming a Chocolate Box into a Beautiful Hanging Heart

Chocolates always have a way of making things better, don't they? In this project, we'll repurpose a heart-shaped chocolate box into a beautiful hanging heart decoration that you can proudly display for Valentine's Day.
