There will be days..

There are times when you feel like nothing is going right and you're just not yourself. But even in those moments, you manage to put on a smile and keep moving forward. You might feel exhausted, unwell, perplexed, or powerless, but you persevere.

Unfortunately, we recently received the devastating news that our wonderful friend passed away at the young age of 31. It was a tragic event and I cannot express the emotions that I felt upon hearing the news. We shared wonderful memories together and the last time we spoke was shortly after the birth of our second daughter in September 2015. Despite the grief, I try to focus on the wonderful moments we share. She was a kind-hearted person, an amazing mother to three wonderful boys, and always ready to lend a helping hand. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to know such a wonderful person.

There will be times when life seems to make no sense, but eventually, acceptance of its unpredictability sets in. I am extremely grateful for my life and I am holding my children even closer tonight. I make sure to tell everyone how much they mean to me. I hold nothing back!

There are days when it is okay to cry and feel sorrow. Remember to keep your head up and know that better days are ahead. As Francis Gray once said, "Today well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Look well therefore to this day."

Lastly, I would like to extend a warm welcome to new readers and express my joy in having you here.

A while ago, I purchased some pin cushions from my local Dollar Tree and stored them away, completely forgetting about them. I used a paintbrush to add a thin layer of the mixture and then used a drying tool to dry the paint. I repeated this process for...

Transforming a Chocolate Box into a Beautiful Hanging Heart

Chocolates always have a way of making things better, don't they?
