DIY Halloween Picture Frame Erasable Reminder Board

Get into the Halloween spirit with this DIY Halloween Picture Frame Erasable Reminder Board. Learn how to create a spooky and functional decoration that can be personalized with reminders and messages. Perfect for keeping track of Halloween party plans and activities!


This DIY project displays daily reminders. It's easy to make and cute to display. Check the materials and guide below.

Materials needed:

-Picture frame
-Chalkboard paint
-Paintbrush
-Hot glue
-Craft Jewels 
-Halloween Stickers
-Chalk

Make Your Very Own

I bought two plain frames from my local craft store and removed the cardboard piece inside. I set it aside for later use in creating my Erasable board. The frame I purchased had a thicker piece inside. 

Next, I applied multiple coats of chalkboard paint, letting each coat dry completely while I decorated the frames with jewels. I suggest being creative with your design! You can also add any Halloween stickers you have at this point. I used a hot glue gun to attach the jewels and little monsters to my frames. 

At this point, you're almost ready to put together the board. Simply place the cardboard piece inside the frame and close it off. If you plan on hanging your frame, apply some string using hot glue and hang it up to display. Enjoy your new Erasable board!
