Simple Diy Autumn Tree.

Simple DIY Autumn Tree

With just a few materials you can create this simple Autumn tree.
My inspiration for this project was my love for Fall.
I created this using materials from my local Dollar Tree store.

Materials needed

🍁 Ribbon
🍁Fall leaves (I picked up 10 bundles)
🍁Mini lights/ I used mini leaf lights
🍁Twine
🍁 1 Plunger
🍁1 pot
🍁Scissors
🍁Hot glue

Creating your Autumn tree

Start by wrapping your twine around your plunger stick.
You'll want to completely cover the wooden stick. Once you're near the middle of the stick, you'll want to stop and start attaching your fall leaves.

Take each leaf bundle, and glue it to your plunger stick.
You'll want to have some that are glued closer to the top and a few that are lower. This will help fill in spots.

Once you have all the leaves glued on, take the rest of your twine and cover the stems on your leaf bundle. Continue wrapping them, making sure to cover the stems. Using your scissors cut the remaining twine off.

Now you can create a bow using your ribbon. You can create any style bow that you would like. This part is completely optional.

Decorating your pot

You can use any pot. I actually already had a pot.
Take your remaining ribbon, and glue it around your pot. I did this just to add a little more fall design to my pot.

Final Touches

Using hot glue, make sure to secure your plunger inside of your pot.
If you find that your tree is not sturdy enough, add a few rocks.
I added in a few rocks, and it helped secure it.
You can glue a few leaves on top of your rocks. This will make it look as though the leaves have fallen from your tree.

I hope that you have enjoyed this simple Autumn tree creation.
I'd love to hear what you plan on creating this Autumn season!
A new recipe, craft, or just plans for the new season.

  2. This is so beautiful! I always want to do something with those beautiful leaves and I am never quite sure what. This looks like something even my 'uncrafty' self can attempt. I am saving this while awaiting the autumn leaves. We still have full blown summer and no sign of that changing any time soon.

  8. That is so cute and you would have NO IDEA that it was that simple based on how cute the final project looks. Autumn is my favourite time of year, without question, so I can't wait to add more seasonal stuff to the house. I think this would look perfect on the side table in our living room. I guess I need to make a trip to the local dollar store to pick up supplies!

DIY Tea Tin Planter for Sweet Mint

Today’s tiny DIY win: turning an empty lemon‑ginger tea tin into a planter for a sweet mint plant that needed some love. I cleaned the tin, added drainage, and nestled the mint inside. It instantly brightened up the space — the colors on the tin and the fresh green leaves look so sweet together. I love giving everyday items a second life, especially when they end up this cute. Quick Video Tutorial  I began this little project by cleaning out an empty metal tea container that I had saved. It still held a soft scent of lemon and ginger, and I loved the idea of giving it a second life. Once I washed and dried it, the container felt ready for a new purpose.   Next, I used a finishing nail and a hammer to create a few drainage holes in the bottom of the tin. Since metal containers don’t have natural drainage, this step helps keep the roots healthy and prevents the soil from becoming soggy. Having prepared the container, I carefully removed the sweet mint from its original pot. The ...

It started with my husband having a cough, sore throat, sneezing, and whole-body aches. Of course, that was passed on to the rest of us, but we have been so fortunate to just have a sore throat. This calls for plenty of hydration, vitamin C, and occasional medication. I hope you all had a nice week. Just yesterday, the weather reached 102 degrees! It definitely was hot out. Now, onto the party, we have some wonderful featured posts to share this week. Thank you to everyone who joined last week, and if you are new here, welcome! We're so gl...

Colorful Summer Flower: Recycled Paper Towel DIY

Looking to bring a little sunshine into your space without visiting the craft store? This whimsical summer flower decoration makes great use of what you already have—think beads, pom poms, a humble paper towel tube, and a splash of acrylic paint. Bonus: it’s the perfect way to reuse an old frame and welcome summer in style! What You’ll Need: 1 paper towel tube (emptied, of course!) Acrylic paint (I chose a deeper pink) Craft pom poms (yellow makes a great center!) Assorted beads (medium for the stem, smaller for embellishing the petals) Foam letters (for your summer message) A reused frame (square or any shape of your choice) Scissors Hot glue gun Creating your summer flower decoration Cut the Tube and Shape the Petals :  Start by cutting the paper towel tube into four evenly-sized sections. Each section will serve as a petal. You should be left with four rings. Next, flatten each ring, then gently reshape it to form soft ovals. These will mimic delicate flower...

Welcome to The Crazy Little Love Birds Link Party #105! This party offers a platform for sharing inspiring content, including recipes, family-friendly blog posts, crafts, home décor, and other uplifting ideas. Happy Friday! How is everyone doing? While I'm at it, how's the weather where you are? Our temperatures are starting to cool off; tomorrow, they say our high will be in the 60s.  We're still seeing a few hummingbirds at the feeder, and I recently made a ladybug house so that if any want a place to stay when the weather gets colder, they can move right in. I've never had one myself, but I did some research before building it. It's essentially a bug hotel. They have the cutest bee hotel at our local nature center, too. So it helped me with a few different ideas. I hope you are all doing well, and if I haven't told you lately, thank you so much for joining the party each week. I appreciate all of you! Now, onto the wonderful featured posts. Congratulations,...
