The Christmas Photo/Journal Challenge is a fun and creative way to document your holiday season. Capture special moments and memories through photographs and journal entries with this exciting challenge. Get inspired and make your Christmas season memorable.

Write a journal entry for each photo that you take.
It can be short and simple.
Describe the way this particular photo made you feel. 
Write about a memory, a special meaning, or something it reminded you of.

Here are some ideas for your Christmas photo/journal challenge:

  1. Christmas Lights: Take a photo of the beautiful Christmas lights in your neighborhood or home. Share what you love about them and how they make you feel.
  2. Your Favorite Ornament: Capture a photo of your favorite ornament on the tree. Share why it’s special to you and what memories it brings back.
  3. Christmas Tree: Take a photo of your Christmas tree, decorated or not. Share what you love about it and how it makes you feel.
  4. A Christmas Scene in Town: Take a photo of a festive scene in your town, such as a decorated storefront or a holiday parade. Share what you love about it and how it makes you feel.
  5. Something Baked: Take a photo of something you baked for the holidays, such as cookies or a pie. Share the recipe and why it’s special to you.
  6. A Cozy Spot: Take a photo of your favorite cozy spot in your home, such as a reading nook or by the fireplace. Share why it’s special to you and how it makes you feel.
  7. A Christmas Craft: Take a photo of a Christmas craft that you made, such as an ornament or wreath. Share how you made it and why it’s special to you.
  8. Your Children Around the Tree: Take a photo of your children around the tree, opening presents or just enjoying the holiday spirit. Share what you love about this moment and how it makes you feel.
  9. Your Pets Around the Tree: Take a photo of your pets around the tree, enjoying the holiday spirit. Share what you love about this moment and how it makes you feel.
  10. Your Favorite Holiday Sweater: Take a photo of yourself wearing your favorite holiday sweater. Share why it’s special to you and how it makes you feel.
  11. Your Favorite Holiday Mug: Take a photo of your favorite holiday mug filled with hot cocoa or tea. Share why it’s special to you and how it makes you feel.
  12. A Warm Drink: Take a photo of your favorite warm drink, such as hot cocoa or tea. Share why it’s special to you and how it makes you feel.
  13. Your Favorite Christmas Book: Take a photo of your favorite Christmas book, whether it’s for children or adults. Share why it’s special to you and how it makes you feel.
  14. Holiday Art: Take a photo of holiday art that inspires you, whether it’s a painting or sculpture. Share what you love about it and how it makes you feel.
  15. Presents: Take a photo of presents under the tree, wrapped or unwrapped. Share what you love about this moment and how it makes you feel.
  16. Morning Frost: Take a photo of morning frost on trees or grass outside your window. Share what you love about this moment and how it makes you feel.
  17. Christmas Decorations: Take a photo of any other Christmas decorations that inspire joy in your heart, such as garlands, wreaths, stockings, etc.
  18. A Winter Hike: Take a photo of yourself on a winter hike, enjoying nature during the holidays.

    What a lovely Christmas challenge. With many of us being limited with what we can do this year, this is a lovely way to make some holiday memories and get into the Christmas spirit - plus you can get the whole family involved. The great thing about a photo challenge is that anyone can do it, with cell phone cameras these days, it's easy to snap good quality pictures when inspiration strikes!

    This is such a cute idea. I love that it encourages people to really embrace the holiday season and all the different things that they love about it. I know that many people are struggling this year, so something positive like this is really needed!

    This is such a neat idea! For me, it would really force me to slow down and enjoy the simple things. Which is something I don't do nearly enough, and I'm presuming most don't either. Especially right now when it seems almost impossible to really get into the Christmas spirit and be excited about the holidays.
