Hello everyone! How was your week?  If you are new to the party, welcome!  I hope you are all doing well. 

I feel incredibly grateful today as my husband and I celebrate 22 years of marriage. It has been a wonderful journey having him by my side. 


This past week has been busy for us. Both of our daughters are back in school after a much-needed winter break. Our youngest had testing this week, and I had a few appointments. Despite our hectic schedule, I truly appreciate the gift of experiencing each new day.

 

My thoughts are with those affected by the wildfires in California.

While I'm at it, how's the weather where you are? Our temperatures are starting to cool off; tomorrow, they say our high will be in the 60s.  We're still seeing a few hummingbirds at the feeder, and I recently made a ladybug house so that if any want a place to stay when the weather gets colder, they can move right in. I've never had one myself, but I did some research before building it. It's essentially a bug hotel. They have the cutest bee hotel at our local nature center, too. Little Clay Bowls.

Little clay bowls  I created these simple textured clay bowls, and I'd love it if you created some too! Take some clay and mold them into a round bowl shape. I used air-dry clay for this project.  Allow it to dry completely overnight. Then take some paint and mix a few colors together and paint each bowl.
