Welcome to The Crazy Little Love Birds Link Party #123! This party offers a platform for sharing inspiring content, including recipes, family-friendly blog posts, crafts, home décor, and other uplifting ideas.

Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well. This week has been quite busy for me since my daughters are back in school and the second semester has started. I want to thank everyone who joined us at the party last week. I’ve been enjoying all the posts—I've discovered new books, explored inspiring projects, and found delicious recipes. I can't wait to see what you all share at this week's party! 🥰

🌟🌟🌟Congratulations to our featured bloggers 🌟🌟🌟

Jennifer at Life Tales Books shared her post, suggesting that your photo project may not be as overwhelming as you think. She provides a 10-minute daily plan that I believe can really work. I encourage you to check out her methods.

Sally, over at Within a World of My Own, shared a post titled "A Few of My Favorite Winter Things." I loved her approach of revisiting her favorite winter items by looking back at the photos she has taken.

Lynne from Thrifting Wonderland demonstrated how she transformed her entrance from a Christmas theme to a winter theme. I appreciate the simplicity of her design.

Mami Made It showcased her transformation of a bedside table into a small office cabinet. Be sure to visit her site and see how she personalized it for her office.

  2. Thanks so much for sharing (and recommending!) my "Why Your Photo Project Isn't as Big as You Think" post this week! I'm thrilled, and I hope others will take some hope from it. I hope semester #2 is great for your girls. I'm a teacher and semester #2 just started for me as well. (Although, as a college instructor teaching the same course, semester #2 is the same as semester #1. ha ha) Thank you for hosting this fun linkup. I'm looking forward to seeing what others have shared. I'm sharing #9 and #10 this time. Happy weekend!

    1. Jennifer, you're very welcome. We enjoyed your post, and it was very insightful. And thank you, it seems like they are back on track. They got comfortable during break and were a little bummed to start this second semester. I guess sleeping in and no lessons was everything to them, haha.

Wishing you a great weekend and all the best during your second semester as well.

Keeping Blogging Positive: The Do’s and Don’ts of Community Support

The Do’s and Don’ts in a Blogging Community If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years of blogging, it’s that the community can be one of the best parts of the whole experience — when we’re actually supporting each other. Blogging isn’t just hitting publish and hoping someone reads it. It’s connecting, showing up for one another, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome to share their voice. But let’s be honest: not every corner of the blogging world feels that way. Sometimes people forget that behind every blog is a real person doing their best. So I wanted to put together a simple, down‑to‑earth list of do’s and don’ts — the things that genuinely help build a positive blogging community, and the things that… well, don’t. Nothing complicated, nothing dramatic. Just the kind of common‑sense, supportive habits that make blogging more enjoyable for all of us. The Do’s: How We Can Lift Each Other Up Do show support in ways that feel natural to you Support doesn’t have to b...

Succulent Centerpiece using Dollar Tree Items

Looking to add some greenery to your space?  Hello everyone! Today, we’re going to create a quick and simple succulent display using a round baking pan from Dollar Tree. I completed this craft a while ago, but forgot to share it with you. It's an easy project, and all the materials—except for the spray paint—were purchased at Dollar Tree. You can make this lovely decoration in just 10 minutes. Let’s get started on this succulent decoration together! Materials -One baking pan -Spray paint -Stones/rocks -Crushed glass -Artificial succulents -One glass candle holder Start by applying spray paint to the baking pan. I had a bronze color from a previous project, and it would be a great opportunity to use it again. When applying spray paint, make sure to cover the surrounding area and ensure that the space is well-ventilated.  Once you have painted the pan, allow the paint to dry. I used a heating tool to speed up the drying process, but if you prefer, you can let it air dry, which m...

How to Transform Glass Garlic Jars into Multi-Functional Pin Cushions with Storage

Transform your glass garlic jars into multi-functional pin cushions with storage by following this creative and practical DIY tutorial. You will learn how to repurpose these jars into stylish and useful organization tools for sewing or crafting supplies. Hello everyone! A while ago, I purchased some pin cushions from my local Dollar Tree and stored them away, completely forgetting about them. Today, while cleaning, I came across them and decided to use them with my glass garlic jars. I thought the glass garlic jars would be wonderful for creating multi-functional pin cushion storage jars. Materials Three pin cushions Glass jars (I'm reusing my garlic jars) Mod Podge Paintbrush Acrylic paint Sewing and craft accessories to add to each glass jar Adding Mod Podge and Paint to jars To give my jars a stained glass appearance, I combined my Mod Podge and paint. I used a paintbrush to add a thin layer of the mixture and then used a drying tool to dry the paint. I repeated this process for...

Lately: Things That Have Made My Heart Happy

Lately, I’ve been holding onto the small things—the gentle, unexpected moments that slip in between the busy ones and remind me how much beauty there is in simply being here, together. We’re almost stepping into April, and even though this month has brought its share of mishaps and little detours, it has also offered us so many soft, shining memories. The kind that settle in quietly and stay. These are the moments that have made my heart happy… Welcoming Spring With Fresh Flowers One morning at the market, I picked up a small bundle of spring flowers—nothing extravagant, just simple blooms in soft colors that felt like a whisper of the season ahead. Bringing them home and placing them on the table instantly brightened the whole space. It felt like inviting spring inside, letting a little bit of newness and hope settle into our everyday rhythm. Sunsets That Slow the World Down Evening after evening, the sky has been putting on a show—warm gold melting into rose, fading into deep violet....
