Happy Friday! I hope you are all doing well. This week was a little rough. It started with my husband having a cough, sore throat, sneezing, and whole-body aches. Of course, that was passed on to the rest of us, but we have been so fortunate to just have a sore throat. This calls for plenty of hydration, vitamin C, and occasional medication. I hope you all had a nice week. Just yesterday, the weather reached 102 degrees! It definitely was hot out.

    Wow! You've had some high temps, Stephanie! We have been in the low 70's and rainy on and off much of the week. I hope everyone at your house feels better very soon!     Hope you all feel better soon. We've had some hot temps. Not over 100, though! We had a great spring, and I'm not really looking forward to summer weather. But, I'll take it over winter, any time! Thanks for hosting!

While I'm at it, how's the weather where you are? Our temperatures are starting to cool off; tomorrow, they say our high will be in the 60s.  We're still seeing a few hummingbirds at the feeder, and I recently made a ladybug house so that if any want a place to stay when the weather gets colder, they can move right in. I've never had one myself, but I did some research before building it. It's essentially a bug hotel. They have the cutest bee hotel at our local nature center, too. A vase for every space:A quick diy project

This project was simple and quick to complete.  I love displaying fresh flowers in our home, so I figured what a great way to display them.  You will just need a few materials.  I promise you will love the way it all comes together in the end. I honestly could not decide on which room to put them on display. I ended up putting them in the master bedroom.  Materials  Two Vases, any size will do. Lace ribbon Burlap tape Glue or double-sided tape Fresh flowers Start by adding your burlap tape to your vase I chose burlap tape because it was quick and simple to attach to the vase. Apply it around your vase. I did two sections of burlap tape on the bottom portion and the top section of the vase. Applying your lace around your vase  Now working with the lace material, I used some craft glue and applied it  to the lace, and slowly wrapped it around the vase.
