The Very hungry Caterpillar

I have read The Very Hungry Caterpillar, by Eric Carle at least five times today. My daughter is in love with this book, and she loves how he turns into a beautiful butterfly in the end. What is your child's favorite book? I'm sure this is one of her favorite books; she seriously has a mini library! (And she's not even two yet, and I swear she has way more books than I did when I was her age!)

    OMG, my 12mo son LOVES this book. I've read it a hundred times. He has a big version and a small version, and sometimes I catch him looking at the same page of both!

    He also loves Llama Llama Red Pajama, Llama Lllama Hoppity Hop, Green Eggs and Ham and Dear Zoo.

    Hi Deb! Aw how cute!! My daughter just loves it. :) I will have to check out Dear Zoo, I haven't heard of that one. My husband loves readind Green Egga and Ham to our daughter, she loves that one also.

Colorful Summer Flower: Recycled Paper Towel DIY

  Looking to bring a little sunshine into your space without visiting the craft store? This whimsical summer flower decoration makes great use of what you already have—think beads, pom poms, a humble paper towel tube, and a splash of acrylic paint. Bonus: it’s the perfect way to reuse an old frame and welcome summer in style! What You’ll Need: 1 paper towel tube (emptied, of course!) Acrylic paint (I chose a deeper pink) Craft pom poms (yellow makes a great center!)
