As seasons change...

Fresh air, nature walks, park play dates...I can't wait for spring to get here! We have been having some warm weather here in Colorado, and I must say it seems as though everyone is enjoying it.
I’m looking forward to nature walks with our daughter, and of course gardening. I’ve been asked which season I enjoy the most.
I think I would have to say autumn. I love watching leaves fall from the trees, and the beautiful colors they turn. Everyone seems to pull out their scarves, and knitted sweaters. And we love sitting in coffee shops. So what's your favorite season?
Even though autumn is one of my favorite seasons, I can't wait for spring to get here. Beautiful flowers, humming birds usually gather around my flowerbed, and I enjoy opening windows and letting in fresh air. It's so peaceful.

    Ones of the best gifts a parent can give her child is the appreciation of nature. A child's eyes are so near ground level , to see nature's beauty. And yet, children rarely see such things until it's brought to his attention.

    I really like winter a lot. The quiet and the calm and getting to wear warm clothing. I love scarfs and boots so it's always a fun season for me. It's also the season that I met my husband so winter holds a very special place for me.

Succulent Centerpiece using Dollar Tree Items

Looking to add some greenery to your space?  Hello everyone! Today, we’re going to create a quick and simple succulent display using a round baking pan from Dollar Tree. I completed this craft a while ago, but forgot to share it with you. It's an easy project, and all the materials—except for the spray paint—were purchased at Dollar Tree. You can make this lovely decoration in just 10 minutes. Let’s get started on this succulent decoration together! Materials -One baking pan -Spray paint -Stones/rocks -Crushed glass -Artificial succulents -One glass candle holder Start by applying spray paint to the baking pan. I had a bronze color from a previous project, and it would be a great opportunity to use it again.
