Lately...

Each day of our lives we make deposits in the memory banks of our children.

Morning-Creating art.

Sunny day- A stroll through the neighborhood with her lamb

Putumayo Kids- Hooray my Cd arrived! I'm part of a moms-meet group online,
and as one of my rewards, I chose to receive this CD.  It includes some songs from around the world.
So we have been dancing and enjoying our mornings.

Block-building, and some hammering as well.

I've started a new journal. -

Life can sometimes get somewhat hectic. -When it all seems to calm down, and our days seem a little longer, and a bit more peaceful; I enjoy the moments I spend with my family. This year; will be much different from last year. I'm always ready, and happy for a change. It's the cycle of life.

I've been slacking a little on my blogging. -With sunny days, long walks, clay sculpting, block-building, book reading, and some journal writing.- I'm a little behind.  How have you been spending your time?

**Thank you to all my lovely readers, I appreciate all of you. Also, I'm so happy that you all enjoyed the printout I provided for pretend Vet play. I'm so glad you all enjoyed it.**

  3. Hi Stephanie, I love the quote and the photo of your daughter's stroll with little lamb. Your mom's group sound wonderful. I joined a local neighborhood group when my children were younger and I got a lot out of it. The CD sounds fun. It's great that you're enjoying time out in the sun! Enjoy your day.

DIY Tea Tin Planter for Sweet Mint

Today’s tiny DIY win: turning an empty lemon‑ginger tea tin into a planter for a sweet mint plant that needed some love. I cleaned the tin, added drainage, and nestled the mint inside. It instantly brightened up the space — the colors on the tin and the fresh green leaves look so sweet together. I love giving everyday items a second life, especially when they end up this cute. Quick Video Tutorial  I began this little project by cleaning out an empty metal tea container that I had saved. It still held a soft scent of lemon and ginger, and I loved the idea of giving it a second life. Once I washed and dried it, the container felt ready for a new purpose.   Next, I used a finishing nail and a hammer to create a few drainage holes in the bottom of the tin. Since metal containers don’t have natural drainage, this step helps keep the roots healthy and prevents the soil from becoming soggy. Having prepared the container, I carefully removed the sweet mint from its original pot. The ...
