Morning love.

Every morning is a beautiful morning. ~Terri Guillemets

Morning...I've managed to climb out of bed. I'm still a little groggy. It seems as though a hot shower hasn't helped much. -I mean it did warm me up, and maybe even relax me a little. But of course, I'm still groggy. I'm reminded that I need to quickly wake my mind, and get my body moving. -There's a little person (toddler) living in this home, and I'm sure she won't like it if mom stays in bed all day. (Sometimes I wish I could). But for me, that's nearly impossible, and I'm always on the go.

So I'm up, I've opened curtains, made beds, and prepared a light breakfast. I've spent my time preparing breakfast and going over the alphabet and numbers with my little love. We sit..I'm finally feeling refreshed, and content. We enjoy our breakfast, and I'm amazed at how much my little one has learned. She's going onto three, and yes she's still my little one. She reminds me.."Mommy there's a baby in your tummy". We giggle together, then quickly..she goes in for a kiss on my tummy. (She's going to be an awesome big sister).

Shortly after I clean up our dishes, and get a few things done around our home. (I've started working on an order of wedding invitations, this should be fun). In the background, there's music playing and a tiny voice screaming. A pug running (trying to escape and hide away from our daughter). By now, I'm fully awake. We enjoy some time in the bathroom where I prepare my daughter's bath. After a bath, we read a few books. I enjoy this time so much. -Just us together enjoying our morning.

Mornings can be calm, hectic and maybe even overwhelming-sometimes everything combined. But when it's all said and done...I enjoy my mornings spent with the ones I love.

Hello my lovely readers, and welcome new readers! I'm so happy to have you come along on my blogging journey. And a BIG thank you to those of you who leave such kind, inspiring words here on my blog. I appreciate every single one of you!

  2. I know how you feel. It's so much harder to be pregnant when you already have a little one. It sounds like you choose a lot of calming activities to do with her, so hopefully that helps ease you into the day. Lovely photos of your morning too. :)

Easy Floral Decoupage Idea for Faux Pumpkin Display

Hi everyone! I'm excited to share a simple and easy floral pumpkin design you can create quickly. Today, we will make a faux floral pumpkin display using decoupage and a few additional designs. I'm reusing a foam pumpkin that I bought at Dollar Tree. If you’re ready, let’s begin creating an easy floral decoupage faux pumpkin display! Quick video tutorial **Materials needed:** - Acrylic paint - Paintbrush - Floral napkin - Faux pearls - Faux flowers - Craft knife - Scissors - Mod Podge Carefully remove the top of your pumpkin. I used my craft knife to go around the top section, creating a hole at the top. Using a paintbrush, apply acrylic paint to the pumpkin. I chose to paint mine black. Next, use scissors to cut out a few flowers from your napkin. Make sure to remove the second layer of the napkin before cutting out the designs.   Once you have your floral designs cut out, use a paintbrush to apply Mod Podge to the pumpkin. While the Mod Podge is wet, add the floral napkin c...

DIY Floral Wooden Jack‑O’‑Lanterns (Easy Fall Decor)

I’ve been having so much fun creating fall projects this year. These floral wooden jack‑o’‑lanterns  started as simple wooden pumpkins, but with a few pretty transfers and some soft paint colors, they turned into the sweetest little fall accents. I love how the florals give them a cozy, cottage‑style feel while still keeping that classic jack‑o’‑lantern charm. They’re quick to make, easy to customize, and such a cute way to add a warm autumn touch to your home. Watch the video tutorial Materials Wooden pumpkin cutouts Floral transfers Acrylic paint (your chosen colors) Gold acrylic paint Green acrylic paint Mini dowels Hot glue gun + glue sticks Small wooden stands Brown acrylic paint Paintbrushes   Add the floral transfers I started by placing my floral transfers onto each wooden pumpkin, just arranging them until they felt right. Once they were where I wanted them, I used a little rubbing tool to press them down and transfer the design onto the wood. Take your time with this...

Welcome to The Crazy Little Love Birds Link Party #110! This party offers a platform for sharing inspiring content, including recipes, family-friendly blog posts, crafts, home décor, and other uplifting ideas. Hello everyone! How was your week? Is the weather cooling off where you live? I hope you are all doing well. Thank you to those who took the time to check out our Milwaukee trip post; your kindness and thoughtfulness mean a lot to me.  Last weekend, the girls and I harvested peppers from the garden. Before we left for our trip to Milwaukee, we checked the garden and saw a few peppers; however, after our return, there were even more. This weekend, we'll be doing some organizing and making repairs on a cracked section of our front porch.   As always, I appreciate each of you and thank you for joining us here every week. I enjoy reading all of your posts and am grateful to have you as part of this community! The peppers we harvested from the garden Congratulations to our fe...

Happy Friday! How was your week? I hope you’re doing well.  This week, we finally went to court about the damage to our fence. Honestly, no one likes to go to court, and we would have preferred to resolve this issue privately with the individual involved. He didn't cooperate, which ultimately led us to take him to court. We hope to finally move on from this situation. I can't wait to share the lovely featured posts with you all.  **Update** Looks like Blogger has fixed the comment section. Yay! Blogger is having some issues with commenting. It shows "publishing..." when the button is clicked and stays there for some time. As always, thank you all for joining! ⭐Congratulations to our fe...
