Oh, the days. -They seem rather busy. Sometimes long, it all depends on the day. 
The weather has been warm and we are enjoying more hikes out in nature. I always welcome rain with a smile. -My plants and grass get watered. And the smell of rain is so refreshing.  Easter Sunday, we all enjoyed. Morning service at church and I put together a simple, yet fun Easter basket for our daughter. 

 I haven't been on much for blogging and I may actually take a short break. 
Of course, busy days can turn hectic. I recently broke my camera. I was pretty devastated. I think I may have shed a few tears.  I'm currently looking for a new one. The morning of my ultrasound- we headed out and our truck stopped working. It would only drive in reverse. 
Of course, my husband had it all under control. We missed my appointment and had to reschedule for the following week. -I did cry. I must admit I've been so emotional with this pregnancy. This would have been our first ultrasound with this baby. 

Come to find out, our transmission is completely burnt out. I tried to look on the bright side and I thought things could be worse. -I'm happy that we are all healthy, happy, and alive. So next week we will get to see this little baby in my tummy and I will just hope things will calm down and we can get back to enjoying simple days with less stress. I hope you all are doing well.

    Hugs to you, Stephanie. I'm sorry you're having a hard time right now. I understand your frustation with the camera and the truck, especially right now with so much happening. I hope everything settles down soon. I will miss you while you're having a break, but I look forward to seeing new posts again. Take care and enjoy.

      Aw, thank you so much Jennifer. So much has happened and I'm trying to bring my stress levels back. Which is probably a wise thing to do. I really appreciate your kind words. I really need to take a break and just remind myself that it's life and things happen. Thank you for being so kind.

    I was so much more emotional with my second pregnancy. My second daughter is also a very emotional person so I often wonder if there s some link. I know how much stress can eat away at our happiness as much as we don't want it to so hope things get better soon.

    For two whole seconds I stared at those waffles and for some reason I thought they were those Korean potato cakes. I was like I need to go visit Stephanie I bet she makes fantastic food lol!

DIY Tea Tin Planter for Sweet Mint

Today’s tiny DIY win: turning an empty lemon‑ginger tea tin into a planter for a sweet mint plant that needed some love. I cleaned the tin, added drainage, and nestled the mint inside. It instantly brightened up the space — the colors on the tin and the fresh green leaves look so sweet together. I love giving everyday items a second life, especially when they end up this cute. Quick Video Tutorial  I began this little project by cleaning out an empty metal tea container that I had saved. It still held a soft scent of lemon and ginger, and I loved the idea of giving it a second life. Once I washed and dried it, the container felt ready for a new purpose.   Next, I used a finishing nail and a hammer to create a few drainage holes in the bottom of the tin.
