Simple Refreshing Lemon Lip Scrub

Image showing a sliced lemon

Hand holding up a lemon

Start by gently washing your lemon, using an organic fruit wash if possible. Then, use a grater to shave the rind off the lemon. Take a small bowl and mix the shaved lemon rinds with about a teaspoon of sugar.

Add a teaspoon of coconut oil and squeeze in a little lemon juice. Mix everything together and put it in a small jar with an airtight lid. A mini jam jar works well for this. Keep the jar in a cool place or in the refrigerator to make the application cool when you use it.

When using the lip scrub, gently apply a small amount to your lips and rub it in, making sure to cover all dry spots.

After using the scrub, apply a lip balm to help with dryness. You can keep the lip scrub for about a week, but always make sure to store it in a cool place or in the refrigerator. This lip scrub is simple, refreshing, and smells amazing!

  6. My husband and I just did foot soaks/scrubs and a face mask earlier! With no internet, it just made sense to take a bit of time and pamper our skin. This lip scrub sounds like a perfect addition the next time we do it. I have all of the ingredients to make it too!

Succulent Centerpiece using Dollar Tree Items

Looking to add some greenery to your space?  Hello everyone! Today, we’re going to create a quick and simple succulent display using a round baking pan from Dollar Tree. I completed this craft a while ago, but forgot to share it with you. It's an easy project, and all the materials—except for the spray paint—were purchased at Dollar Tree. You can make this lovely decoration in just 10 minutes. Let’s get started on this succulent decoration together! Materials -One baking pan -Spray paint -Stones/rocks -Crushed glass -Artificial succulents -One glass candle holder Start by applying spray paint to the baking pan. When applying spray paint, make sure to cover the surrounding area and ensure that the space is well-ventilated.  Once you have painted the pan, allow the paint to dry. I used a heating tool to speed up the drying process, but if you prefer, you can let it air dry, which m...
